A short history of Germany. Using a sausage as a sort of time line. The ironic perspective is obvious but not it is the axis. The splendid imagination, the music, the drawings, the referinces to the past of Germany, the metamorphosis and, sure, the sausage as "the key" to remind and understand not just an evolution but a sort of self affirmation , era by era . The fluidity of drawing - that seems for me the detail transforming the film in a remarkable one.
