    Good Concept but Very Bad..

I actually liked the concept that you will be a prisoner inside a box.. I was very excited to watch the film since the trailer si super good..

But the plot is a joke.. Imagine watching a protagonist to suffer the whole time of the movie.. Is this really a joke?. I was expecting for the protagonist to struggle and find her way out of the box.. But this is pure torture.. Who would want this kind of movie?. Maybe around1% of the planet's population who thinks weird just like you people did..

Stop making this kind of lame movie.. You will just waste, money and effort.. The acting is okay for me, but the plot was very boring.. Maybe you can re-do the movie into, making the protagonist struggle, think critically, and find her way out but put a lot of obstacles or hurdles that will make the viewers always on the edge's seat..

GET ME AWAY FROM THE BOX: METAPHOR

I always appreciate a filmmaker's effort to innovate, even if the concept isn't entirely new-as seen in CUBE and other movies where characters are confined in a space. The design and texture of the box in this film are interesting, although the flaws in the visual effects become apparent when viewed from a distance, especially the drones. The lead actress and one of the supporting actors delivered commendable performances. However, the film suffers from overly dark lighting, which detracts from the overall experience.

Although this might be a low or no-budget indie Australian film, budget constraints should not justify poor filmmaking. Unfortunately, the acting, with a few exceptions, was subpar, the story lacked engagement, and the dialogue was weak. The film felt aimless, lacking a clear narrative arc or purpose. I struggled to grasp what the film was trying to convey about a future dystopian society or the significance of the beach setting; a desert might have been more appropriate for the prisoners.

Overall, there isn't much that stands out positively in this film. The writer and director could benefit from studying storytelling techniques to develop a more compelling narrative and journey. I'm sorry to say that I did not enjoy this film especially when you have someone read the intro out loud - that was a cringeworthy moment and a strong indicator to the films impending doom.

One hardly has to go beyond the title of the film to see just how awful it is going to be.

Imagine having to spell out for a dystopian sci fi thriller that the box is a metaphor. Did they anticipate the intellectual limits of their small potential audience very well or were they simply too dumb to even flirt with mediocre filmmaking.

I honestly didn't waste more than 3 minutes on this. The very opening intro was so awful both being writing in a slow very clear font while also being read aloud was strange except perhaps in a video game intro.

The very first premise is how this torture and governments in general are all bad at things and how at any other time this would be considered inhumane.

Illustrating a radical naivety to how very different periods of time and circumstances create very different societal perceptions of what is right and wrong what is necessary.

Worse after deciding i definitely couldn't watch this and still have hair left on my head i dared to proceed on past the 2 minute mark approaching the 3 minute mark. Where in the next opening scene much of the previous statements were reiterated nearly word for word by the little lady on the screen in the box now explaining the same tedious filler to the character.

Its like they were going for some sort of worst film of the year award on purpose.

Perhaps everyone involved learned all their filmmaking and writing skills from a tik tok video and have never seen anything that wasn't in the bargin bin at a closed down truck stop.

I suppose its possible it became intelligent purposeful and amazing after this point as if by magic or madness.

My magic 8 ball however indicated all signs point to NO.

I watched less of the film than the trailers run time.

I still regret that mistake so much i had to login to imdb to toss it a one star and a review both in hopes of saving others from even wasting a second on this.

It seemed like civic responsibility somehow.

    Truly a hopeless movie

They might as well just outright kill you then to put you in a metal box near the ocean and make survive by the "mercies" of the so called citizens of this dystopian nightmare. I found this to be just as the globalists these days are attempting to do by giving everyone a forced digital ID ( put you in a box) then force you to follow their rules to be fed or not fed or travel and not travel (A prisoner ) Same idea here, quite terrifying to say the least. One thing they totally missed is where do these prisoners go to the bathroom? I mean like where? There is no indication of any way they can go and the cube is solid, and all the prisoners never have a poopy floor? Kind of odd. Won't see this one again it was totally hopeless and just a trip into a hell hole and a nightmare. I sure hope our world doesn't end up like this.

    Don't waste your time...

    This is not a movie.

It is the expression of the arrogance of a director who has no ability to direct a film but who thinks he is capable of creating deep metaphors.

Mediocre script, absolutely implausible situations, the film has a passion for torture and suffering, without direction, without objective, without content.

Honestly, don't waste your time watching this, it's just not worth it.

I absolutely don't understand how anyone has the courage to pay to produce this type of mediocre narrative.

    And then, distribute!!

It would be offensive to call this thing a "movie." It's a scar, a stain on the art of cinematography, a stupid and purposeless mistake.

I regret that IMDb does not allow giving zero stars or negative stars.

One star is too high a value for this deception.
