The first half of an Adam & Eve two-part feature, "Heartfelt" stars Laura Palmer and Shayla LaVeaux as a psychologist and her college-age daughter in light soap opera situations.
Palmer is reconciling with her husband Buck Adams, while Shayla's love affair with Rick Masters is disapproved of by mom Laura. Oddly enough, Palmer is a famous sex therapist known colloquially as "Dr. Sex" by fans of her advice.
Most of the story material is saved for Part II of the saga, with sex scenes predominating here. Casting is a bit of a stretch, in that actresses Shayla and Laura are the same age in real life. A & E's packaging advertises the video in misleading fashion, stating that the leading lady playing the sex therapist is Shayla.
