    Amazing!!!! Uplifting and inspiring!

I loved every second of this film. The beauty of the women, their stories and even the pain shared. It was a treat to see and hear the foundation of such dynamic women. The questions were poignant and if you listened closely you may hear and see your yourself. My Nana suggested this documentary a week ago and as always I am happy I finally listened. It made me feel that much closer to her and the sacrifices she has made for me. We must honor ourselves, and those who came before us whenever we can, so take a moment out of your day to rest and enjoy this!

    Beautiful

I absolutely love this documentary. I don't even think we can begin to describe how focal mothers are in our community. I wish this could be a series with multiple black women doing this.

    Inspiring

Thank you for making this documentary. It was inspiring and enjoyable at the same time. There are many types of black families and we don't all know our roots because of the breakages in family ties. Glad to be able to see your families legacies and strengthening experiences shared. I plan to encourage others to watch, listen and feel your memories!

    Insightful and inspiring

It was nice to see the unique connection of women with their mothers , grandmothers .

I've not seen a show like this before .

As a very white middle age women from the Pacific Northwest it was very educational as well .

Thank you for creating this and thankful for the women who shared their story .

    Most high ratings are plants.

Superficial. We don't know much about the women telling stories about their mothers and grandmothers, and thus their stories don't resonate.
