Watchable, but not really worth the effort...

Right, well given the fact that this 2021 movie titled "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters" had a rather interesting cover/poster, I must admit that I was interested in watching it, when I was given the chance.

Sure, I wasn't really expecting much of anything though, truth be told, as the vast majority of movies about Bigfoot are laughable attempts at movie-making. But I gave writer and director Brando Snider the benefit of the doubt and opted to watch "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters".

Sadly then the movie's cover/poster was actually the best thing about the entire movie. Well, hold your horses, while "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters" isn't the worst of Bigfoot movies out there, it was by no means a milestone in the genre. Sure, "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters" was watchable, but this was a movie that came and went without leaving a lasting impression.

The storyline in "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters" was pretty straight forward, though it was so simplistic that the movie requires very little attention to keep up with it. Which made for a predictable and generic movie at best.

Visually then I will say that "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters" wasn't bad. Sure, it wasn't top of the line Hollywood special effects and such, but it was good enough and the effects, props and costumes served their purpose well enough. Though there was a permeating sensation of it being a low budget production hanging over it.

In terms of acting performances, then I will say that the actors and actresses had next to nothing to work with in terms of script, storyline and characters. And that reflected poorly on the performances in the movie, as they came off as being mundane and stale.

The movie runs at an hour in length, so you're not in for a full-evening movie here.

My rating of "Myth: Bigfoot Hunters" lands on a generous three out of ten stars. Director Brando Snider put in an wholeheartedly effort to make a movie, that much could be seen.

So bad it's almost hard to describe

I would strongly encourage writer/director Brando Snider to find another line of work. Everything about this film is poor...concept, script, acting, cinematography, sound, editing. Absolutely horrible.

One might think this was produced by a group of high school drama students using their accumulated allowances over the course of a summer.

It's as though neither Snider nor anyone else associated with this knows anything about the US Army, the National Park Service or, frankly anything else they're attempting to write about. Nor do they seem to have developed the ability to conduct even basic research.

    Freaking terrible

Don't waste your brain cells. Badly written, even worse acting. It's 1 hour!! It's like it was financed by the actors passing the hat and writing the drivel themselves. Don't bother.

    Great Suspense Thriller!

Excellent suspense thriller! I liked it a lot even bought it even tough it is free on Amazon Prime. Great cinematography and editing. Acting was a wee bit dry, but the film had a good plot.

    Definitely not a 2.9 movie.

Not the greatest Bigfoot movie out there, but I've definitely seen worse. The acting is fairly decent and the characters to get engaging. Two service members are found to be missing after an assignment in a natural park and it's up to the park rangers and another service member to try to locate them and bring them back. It does get a little confusing, especially toward the end of the movie. But there is a nice little twist at the very end of the movie. This movie is not for everybody, but if you enjoy cheesy Bigfoot flicks, then this is definitely an easy way to kill an hour or so. Just don't get your hopes too high with this one. I rated it a four for a reason.
