A French documentary series in which the United States appears as the world's biggest villain in most episodes. Why doesn't it surprise me anymore? The ill-concealed hatred of many French people towards the Americans here takes on a leftist feel and reminds me of the hateful comments in the government press of socialist Czechoslovakia. If the French would rather learn a proper world language, which is no longer French ...: - /

It's really a shame to see documentaries like this, the US appears to be demonized and portraited as bad people. For the past 100 years the US it's been the one nation that sacrificed the most to protect World Peace-World Freedom, the US didn't caused First World War neither Second World War and it end up seeing itself forced to fight in both, to protect World Peace-World Freedom, when they went to Iraq that was because Saddam was like Hitler, he killed his fellow to take power, massacred 300.000 people of a minority group in what was a great massacre, how can this lefties be criticizing the one nation that is taking the price to protect us, Saddam has warn the world "I have nuclear weapons", so you have a person that is a serial killer just like Hitler and the lefties come to make this documentary "because you invade", this is insane, and it's a shame for the people who produced this documentary, people should be warned of the distorted views being presented here.

Yes it is a different point of view of everything we are taught and forced upon these days with US/Western culture trying to demonize eastern culture for years. It is a nice view of the side where as a lot of people know - the US politics was the biggest evil in politics of 20th century. You can still see the remnants of those ideas even today when the preach everyone outside of capitalist/western-culture thinking as backwards, stupid and evil (racist, homophobic and so on). Really I mean really good TV series to widen your critical thinking.
