Rinko aspires to be a doctor and is a top student. She comes from a well-to-do family. Unfortunately, her father's business one day goes bankrupt, her mother leaves with her lover, her father abandons her, there's no more money for school or her credit cards and the house is being repossessed. So now alone, no school and no money she looks for a job. With no skills she finally gets a job with a small AV (adult video/porn) company as part of the crew.

This movie really is several things. A drama, a comedy and a Pink Eiga. So yes it has some minor nudity and softcore sex scenes. Nothing too explicit although actual AV actresses appear as the AV actresses. Usually I am disappointed when a movie doesn't know what it wants to be. On this case it works quite well. Most of the humor is light with a few good laughs. A decent story with characters I did care about. The sex scenes are definitely part of the story although I didn't find them especially erotic. You don't have to be a fan of Pink Eiga to watch.

The acting was good. Surprised most of the cast hasn't done other (non-AV) movies. I really expected this to be a weak movie that I would rate low. Instead I enjoyed this film and will watch it again some time. Highly recommended.

There's also a "Making Of" available that was interesting although I didn't have subtitles for it.
