    Nearly turned it off but,

The opening 10 minutes, could have been so good, if it wasn't for weak acting and a poorly written script. Not to mention the fact that they dubbed another voice over a nurse.

After that, the movie kept me guessing, I was certain I knew how the movie was going to end, then changed my mind again and again, until it ended the way I initially expected it to.

It's a good psychological thriller about a serial killer and the movie only shows the violence that is necessary, which is in good taste.

I liked this movie overall. It killed 100 minutes of life with the flu.

In the end, I'm glad I didn't turn it off.

Not a bad effort, but ultimately the acting ruins it.

I picked this up out of a bargain basement DVD sale thinking the title "death spider" (Japanese version), might provide some afternoon thrills. While the first 10 minutes provide some hope that the rest of the film is as good, the remaining hour or so is rendered dull by unenthusiastic actors.

The story has a decent premise, a serial killer is on the loose who loves to torture his victims and a psychiatrist who has given up the chase is suddenly confronted by a new patient who has psychic visions.

The music is top notch and the film feels like it had a decent budget behind it but the casting and acting really turn this into a C movie rather than a B. In particular the reporter played by Caroline Kessler seems to enjoy giving a cute smile at really inappropriate moments making us wonder if she also thinks her dialog is bad (notice where she questions the tortured girl in the hospital and says "we need you to tell us everything.." and then smiles??).

In the end most of the actors seem not to be putting their full effort into this one and it shows. The dialog is amateurish in many places which had me rolling my eyes back in my head. Most viewers will probably turn this one off within the first 20 min.

    outstandingly awful

The description of the movie and the review it had, despite the low number of votes compelled me to watch about 2 minutes. In that two minutes I could pretty much tell that the votes were all from cast and the good review was from either the writer, director or a retard. Save your money for a Noddy DVD, the acting is bound to be better and the plot will have far more depth. I am not sure why IMDb force you to write a minimum of 10 lines, perhaps an EU directive on the minimum recommended number of words that are needed to adequately describe an insult to cinema or perhaps writing 10 lines on IMDb creates a magical force that somehow makes a bad film into a good one, wishful thinking.....

    Too obvious

This movie was very promising in the beginning, but after an half hour the final was too obvious. An horror title which you can understand the final after such a short time and completely without any surprise (less or more), it hardly be called exciting, although there were a lot of potential. Nevertheless, the actors have played very well, especially Caroline Kessler, and I believe the soundtrack is matching: the only flaw was precisely the sequence of events. Too bad not being able to develop a storyline so interesting ... For this reason, I would not recommend watching this title, despite my vote is still positive for the idea and the performance of the cast.

Terribly dull and uninteresting serial killer movie.

The main character of "Visions" wakes up in a mental hospital after a car accident. He's doesn't remember his past.He is an amnesiac, who wants to learn more about his life. With the help of his friend he finds in the archive of Dr.Leeman's some hidden files and videotapes of an unsolved crime case. The serial killer nicknamed The Spider is still on the loose. The visions of Matt are becoming more and more nightmarish.Deadly dull and suspenseless psychological thriller obviously inspired by "Saw" series.I don't see any connection with 70's and 80's Italian gialli. The editing is epileptic and the acting is pretty weak. The climax is extremely anti-climatic.Watch Austrian "Angst" if you want a proper serial killer movie.3 out of 10.
