    Dramatic Rescue

The last episode of the fifth season ends with an obligatory high tension plot. Amita is kidnapped by a Manson type guy with a bunch of clingy submissive women. It all starts when he sacrifices two of them and then later another. They are all willing to create a heap of dead bodies. Of course, Charlie figures out a way to use an algorithm to find out where she is. The plot that this guy is using is rather hard to understand.

    Goofy resolution

This episode had so much potential to be good, but then they resolved it in such a goofy way... which is a problem though out the series.

And there are never any consequences for the main actors, even though the are usually borderline suicidal trying to be heroic.

    Shame.

    strictly science fiction

Watching charlie and amita run all that phony coding on their computers made me laugh about how stupid the producers of this show think we are ... i also wondered why the fbi had a green light and taking out the perps

    • Trivia
Larry remarks at one point that he's always believed himself to be "more a Mycroft than a Dr. Watson." The reference is to Sherlock Holmes' equally (or, arguably, more) intelligent older brother who rarely assists in cases because his interests are so different than Sherlock's. And of course to Sherlock's smart but non-genius famous sidekick.
    • Goofs
The 'hacking' code on the screen when Charlie logs in to Amita's fictional 'Mirrored IP' is actually a Crayon app from "The iPhone Developer's Cookbook: Building Applications with the iPhone SDK".
    • Quotes

Don Eppes: Whatever God is... I'm pretty sure it's in how we're there for each other.
