Such an interesting crime story narrated in the most snooze worthy way really disappointed me.
It started off very well but once the 2nd episode began, i started to lose interest solely because of the long narrations going on . The narrations were not intersting enough and those narrating had no fizz factor in their voices and modulations to hold your attention. It was just like they were reading out the paragraphs from their script.
2hrs was way too long for a crime like this and could have been shortened to a 1hr 20 mins documentary. House of Burari was way more interesting than this, solely because of an interesting narrative and the fact that the incident itself was something out of the world stuff but here, when you ultimately know why and how he is commiting the crimes, it felt like any other you have seen in crime patrol and on top of that, they give lengthy explanations to all things making me lose interest.

I had high expectations from this one. Throughout the series, I felt as if I am being thrown from one storyline to another, as a result, I could not connect with the series. Alas! A golden opportunity to present a "desi serial killer" in an engaging manner goes down the drain.
Although the cinematic aesthetics are done quite well.

This a show that proves how incompetent Indian criminal system is - case would have solved mid way, all they had to do is install a Cctv camera at the spot but instead they couldn't even do that. Any one from foreign watching this will laugh on this that half of crime solves in India if they simply install CCtv cameras. It even shows police is not even trained to speak to criminals, rather they were seen questioning him nonsensical way. A country with this dense population should have huge numbers of cctv. Its pathetic to watch it clearly the criminal was highlighting the basic common sense faults of our police. For god sake Install a cctv camera.
Plot of the story is good but stretched tooo much and bad direction. This could have been a better outcome if it were shown with some more data. Only letter is evidence and nothing.
This could have been a great series. The case itself is very interesting. Unfortunately it was poorly executed in a documentary series. It seems to trail off in the first part of the second episode.
Many are commenting/blaming Indias Justice system and policing for their low rating score - placing biase and cultural difference aside, regardless of a case like this, we have to be mindful and remember there are "failures" of justice in any part of the world; the ones in which we live are not superior. Every justice system is in a never ending journey of evolving and growing as our world changes.
