Be sure to watch the long version!

Watch the one hour and 57 minute version, the 88 minute version cuts way too much, including some scenes critical to the plot, and much that adds to the poetic and beautiful flow and artistry. I liked it very much, perhaps more than my star rating indicates, but I didn't want to oversell a film that some would consider a niche movie. Probably should have rated it a 9 star. This is quite a poetic and thoughtful film, offering several quotes in the long version that observe the nature and consequences of love, that most difficult, fascinating, and necessary of emotions. Love drives all the bad and good behaviour of the people we care about in this one. Being a fan of Amazon and Prime subscriber I bought it there; I think it is called School Crush 2 on some platforms, in case you have difficulty in finding it. I watched the English-subbed edition, and while the grammar is not always perfect, it is good enough to be worthy. Much that makes less sense and seems less credible in the short edition, is more substantive and believable in the 1;57 one. This is a high-quality film; the Japanese know how to do it!

Raw emotions are shown and its perfection

This movie had so much meaning and raw emotion. It's an old one but god do I love it. Jealousy was definitely the main focus and although it was between a teacher and a student, there were also side characters involved as well. I also love how they added quotes throughout the movie. It made it more humane. For you to understand what was truly going on. This movie was deep and well thought about. I can't get over how they portrayed jealousy SO well. As a jealous person, I completely understand the guy with glasses. When in love with someone but they're in love with somebody else. I get it. Sure u hate him, but that doesn't mean I don't understand him. You don't have to like a person to understand their emotions and feelings. This movie was just so raw. Absolutely perfection. I could yap about it for ages.
