      The Young Visiters is based on a novel written by Daisy Ashford in 1890 when she was just nine years old. The charm of the book rests in Daisy's innocence as well as her unconventional spelling and grammar. It was published in 1919 to great success.Besides being adapted for film and TV, The Young Visters has also been performed as a play and a musical. Daisy stopped writing in her teens. although she published several other stories later.
