One of the best series I've ever watched.

"Laughing in the Wind" is an exceptional title for a truly remarkable series. The narrative's ebb and flow, coupled with its intricate character development, captivating romance, and compelling drama, left me profoundly moved on numerous occasions. This series elicited both laughter and tears, and I found myself genuinely excited throughout its entirety. Having watched it three times, with some episodes revisited even more frequently, I can confidently say that it is a masterpiece. I wholeheartedly recommend this series to enthusiasts of fantasy, romance, and drama, and encourage them to watch it more than once. A perfect 10/10.

    Excellent!

This is one of the best Chinese dramas of all time, Especially in Xianxia and Wuxia genres. It is based on a very successful novel named The Smiling Proud Wanderer.

The Story is brilliant. Absolutely lovely, dramatic, fantastic and epic that includes very interesting pot twists. I promise you that If you don't like anything else about this show, at least you will enjoy the story. However, I believe its other aspects are amazing as well. The casting is very smart and actors are greatly fit to their associated character. That gets more interesting by their excellent performance all over the series. The computer work is also great considering the time that it had been produced and aired. The wuxia and Xianxia aspects are presented in the best way possible. Not too much that it would bore the audience and also not been avoided anywhere that are needed. The series also has decent humor and pretty good cinematography.

I decently recommend this series. Give it a try if you don't hate wuxia and Xianxia.

    Gong Fu Drama Excellent

This Wuxis Novel Style TV series is great on many levels. Filmed in Mandarin Chinese with clear english subtitles.

The cast has some charisma and real connection.

Set in Ancient China, the feel of this production is authentic, not perfect and too clean. This has the ability to take you into the world of Wuxia, gong fu and sword play. Little use of special effects and great acting, really makes this TV series a star in my collection. I can watch again and again.

An excellent story made into a classic series.

The struggle to find yourself in a world of hypocrites is proven to be a timeless effort.

If you like Chinese Drama and Gong Fu - then this is a must watch.

    40 episodes.

Number one in this genre, no dubt.

I have watched this 11 times (until now) and can't find any series more prefect. the story, characters, acting, everything is good even if it's made in 2000 in China :) i think everyone should watch this...
