Lothar is a straight-laced middle aged man who seems to live for his work as an expert "Moroccan floor tiles" salesman, spending all of his free time with his beloved dog. Lothar is so strictly introverted and emotionally unavailable, that he has even shunned his ex-wife and grown daughter. His daily routine is thrown for a loop when he receives the diagnosis of late stage inoperable cancer. - Is this the end of it all? Has he even time to get his affairs in order?

This quiet little TV movie gives insight in the perception of the meaning of life. Are we all living life to the fullest? What really matters?
