Not all in NZ

Australian number plates on vehicles and pelicans sitting on wharf piles. There are no pelicans in New Zealand!!! Clearly a lot of the work was done in Australia.

Something is off

Immediately sensed something wasn't right with this film. Shot in New Zealand with NZ actors...putting on American accents?! Would've been better without the unnecessary American cheese.

An Easy Watch

As I am a Kiwi, living in New Zealand, I was a tad confused about the location of this movie, but nowhere on its IMDb page does it give information about filming.

I wondered whether to watch this, as the lead female was anything but sweet at first. However, I decided to relax and give it a chance and turned out okay. Eventually.

The male lead was pleasant throughout in spite of the rudeness of Jodie. And his patience paid off in the end.

This is a very 'Hallmark' movie with an unsurprising finish. What made it worth watching had to do with the lovely marina and surroundings we were treated to.
