Such a creative show. There's so much emotions good and bad and a whole lot of laughs with some surprising twists and turns in each episode. I loved all the actors and the main lead was just one of those characters that was played so went it was hard not to get attached to. A touchy plot but it really grows on you with nothing dramatic or over the top scenes. One of my favorite series this year so far for sure. Hope this gets the attention it rightfully deserves and we get to see more of this show. I'm giving this a 9 because of how well it was made and produced. Congrats to the director and everyone involved in make this a successful show.
A light family comedy with a few tilts to nudge-nudge darker inside adult humor, the real accomplishment comes from casting Michael McQuary in multiple parts. His willingness to absolutely divest from humility and "cabaret" every impression and character as if visiting from an alternate reality ups the strength of the comedy to unexpected levels. More MM in future seasons please!
His Brando impression, minus words in one of the later episodes, Is dead on hysterical, painting his character as a mob/director who his assistant characters seem to understand, resembling the "blah blah blah" adults in old "Peanuts" shows from the late 70s and early 80's definitely goes noticed.

I really enjoyed this show so, in all probability, it isn't coming back. Still, IMDB shows a forthcoming season but here it is nearly October 2024 and there's no sign of it. The girls will both be a couple of years older now so the same jokes and storyline wouldn't work quite as well if they don't hurry it up and bring it back soon. Did they run into problems post-covid? All the good shows, the ones I like at least, seem to bite the dust. Most recently Time Bandits on Apple streaming has been cancelled, much to my dismay. Has the same thing happened to Daddy's Divas? If anyone knows what's up, let the rest of us know please.
This upbeat, family friendly comedy series has a little something for everyone: adorably rambunctious kids, middle-aged bikers, a goofy nerdish couple, neurotic priests, lonely elementary school teachers and Michael (David TIttone) a personal trainer, left to raise his 3 daughters on his own after the unexpected death of his wife. Although with Michael's personal grief it could take a more somber turn, this series is firmly focused on comedy and fun and delivers it in abundance. This is a portrait of an idealized, innocent small town community: an Andy Griffith show for the internet age. Shot in cheerful primary colors and doubling down on the cuteness factor every chance it gets, it's a fun escapist journey to an America we wish existed.
I happened upon this edgy family comedy series Daddy's Divas while visiting a friends family and was so charmed by it. I say edgy because so many of todays family friendly TV shows do not touch upon life's difficult situations such as losing a parent. The episodes are about twenty minutes long and full of crazy zany characters and lots of family dysfunction and sometimes dark subjects. Don't be confused however, this is a family comedy obviously written by writers that are parents themselves. The realistic writing along with a cast of actors that are not afraid to perform like embarrassingly bad actors are what make this so funny and delightful to watch. I give two thumbs up to the writers and actors!
