    there are only ...

One true wisdome about close circuit hotel horror movies and that is you are going to hell anyway, either dead or alive outcome, you are deemed to go to hell, and thats what this story is about...

small cast, some nervous winks and oneeyed blinks in the main male actors face, that seemed so tensed at the set.female main a few notches better but no more than average, and thats for the hole cast.

Storyplot takes small pieces and bits from really good horror movies , but fails on the act and slow plot. Its 50 minutes of nada, and the rest is just a hint of a scary movie.if you picture up dantes inferno in 7 levels where 7 is the most hellish level , shells that you only can enter and never leap out of, this comes barely to the second level of frights and purgatorial wrath.

Waking up from a dream in a dream might be fun if done properly but this was not what the grumpy old man came for. A low budgie shot on a wholesale location and sets due to shutdown by covid, didnt make much difference. Better luck next time, and do mention the one eye blink flutter for your next cast.

    Atmospheric Horror A+

I love horror but I despise cheap jump scares and was delightfully greeted by the atmospheric horror found throughout this film! The premise is nice and the acting by the two lead "twins" was honestly fantastic. For me personally I felt like you could actually feel the chemistry and shoutout to the casting for finding two individuals who look related but also in the short film's runtime gave a convincing performance of their investment towards one another.

My only qualm against the film was that certain aspects seemed dragged out and other aspects I wish had more development but such is a limitation of a film with a short runtime that was apparently shot during lockdown so props to them for making the most out of what they were handed to. It would be great if the movie was longer and more development and buildup was shown as some details seemed too implied or details were completely gone if you missed them.

Overall a nice sweet movie especially if you're a sucker for horror, haunted properties as an aesthetic. A fine movie for a night and short enough that it doesn't take up too much time.

    The innkeeper is great!

Quick moving story with a couple of truly scary moments. Loved the combo of old fashioned horror hotel with a more modern feel. Gregg Schweers was great as the innkeeper.

It Wasn't surprising, but i liked it

There are a lot of Haunted House/Hotel movies around.

I stumbled over this one by accident.

I think for the small budget and the Corona Lockdown Situation they made something good out of it.

It wasn't really surpsing and you have heard the story a lot of times, but i think, the acting was good and the atmosphere had it's peeks.

All in all it was a nice little movie that i enjoyed with my wife.

No gore that would have chased her away but enough creepy things to keep us watching.

    creepy indie

Fraternal twins Sarah Moss and Spencer Moss are following their missing father's footsteps. Their search leads them to the Eagle Inn in Vermont. Suspicion grows in the eerily quiet isolated hotel.

I like both Amelia Dudley and Taylor Turner. They actually look like brother and sister. The best is Dean. They all have a bit of creepiness. This is a creepy micro indie. There is something unsettling about the quietness of the hotel. Even the old TVs seem creepy. It's only 70 minutes. It probably needs another twenty minutes. The plot is a little thin. It needs another character, maybe a maid. It needs one more thing. I would make the father's disappearance more recent. It would allow for the possibility of finding him, and that would raise the tension. This is a good start.
