If only some relationship squabbles were the biggest thing to worry about; noooooooo, gotta deal with the existential threat of a malevolent abandoned corpse come to life on an equally abandoned highway.
This new short from Anthony Leeroy is dark (figuratively and literally), gritty, and disturbing and is probably his most pointed work in the horror genre. The Hellraiser / Lost Highway vibes wrap tge whole thing in a familiar spooky aesthetic, while the short running time lends itself well to repeat viewings.
This would make an awesome primer to any Halloween movie marathon, and a very effective vehicle for an anthology (hint hint wink wink nudge nudge). Get on it Anthony!

A short film as a moral lesson about friendship, selfishness, cowardess, a party and the effect of eccess drinking , a crashed pumpkin and a presumed accident , revenge and the help of other.
All in the package of familiar ingredients of reasonable horror.
Not remarkable but nice special effects and fair story and the fair crafted tension. Enough for appreciate it , in my case as the first saw film from 2024, not ignoring the poor details and the strange use of light but not ignoring, in same measure, the clever mix of realism and fantastic and the smart use of ambiguity.
So, a reasonable puzzle.
