I didn't find any of the silly situations funny. There is a sequence of several lines of gibberish - not funny either.
The acting was poor especially Kabby Borders, but several others as well. Jennifer Michno was OK, but her character was unlikeable from the start and most of the way through. She wasn't the least charming or friendly and she had a lack of self-confidence which also detracted from the character. Tyler Corurtad also was unlikeable. His reporter character did nothing to improve my impression of reporters. He doesn't seem to be happy unless he is confronting someone to the point of ticking them off. These two didn't really have chemistry until late, if at all. As in so many stories in this genre, the lead characters attitudes toward each other change too quickly and without any read justification from the story.
As much trouble as I had liking the main characters, the result was that I really didn't care how the story would end.

Aunt Micky: I overheard you and Luke in there.
Maisie Jacobs: You did? You did. It... You know, it probably sounds like I'm really mean to him, but that's just how we communicate.
Aunt Micky: How you two talk to each other in the bedroom is none of my business.
