Power Play

I saw this movie on Prime after having seen other movies starring Raj Tarun who makes decent movies.

This was a lost opportunity and maybe a little bit of better writing and a more logical approach coupled with a little bit of lesser twists trying to provide too much screen time to actors would have helped the movie and made it a much better movie.

Concept of an unaware fall guy who is at the centre of a fraud with no involvement and knowledge is a topic which works but somewhere logic took a backseat with the ATM muddle which could have been shortened and explained properly.

The political angle also is a heavyweight but is shown without much focus and it does not support the story despite good actors.

The movie works for its smooth flow and can be a one time watch.

If money withdrew from ATM why couldn't he prove with SMS of withdrawn money, CCTV of ATM centre. ?

The trailer itself showed vulgar, and the last dialogue of the trailer is something else, but somehow it's rated U/A....which i don't think it should be. I didn't expect this type of scenes from u Raj Anna :( even the hints and such they show in the movie are more adult oriented. Besides that, I think movie and acting and cinematography is pretty nice. Also some slowness, I felt the movie worked more in some parts than others. I think the main part is, because of all the vulgar stuff in the movie, I didn't enjoy. Disappointed in Raj tharun for choosing such a movie with all this bad content. If you are ok with vulgar stuff and you like thrillers, this is a decent one. Even though it's decent thriller, for those fine with vulgar, it probably will not do good at box office. Reason? PROMOTIONS. The marketing team failed this movie, they only showed one poster and released a teaser and trailer too close to release. Even the actors weren't promoting it heavily on their social media's. Not even exaggerating, some people don't even know this released, or if it's a theatre or OTT release...maybe with better promotions it would've done better. Either way, it's an ok watch if you're fine with the points mentioned above (vulgar and thriller)

Just a regular story of a man getting framed into a case he has no involvement in and tries to investigate the real culprit and the conspiracy.

It's just a one time watch movie overall.

We all know how much security with the ATM machine these days. So there are few impossibles with the script. But apart from that storyline was ok.

It was dragging to another story in the middle of the film.

I hope movie should be more realistic than it present here.
