Ok, there's going to be a bunch of people who hate this film, but to be honest, it's got "cult film in the making" qualities, and this will be watched for years to come.
It's proper quirky and deals with the whole time travelling meddler in a fresh new way. I don't want to give anything away, so I wont.
There's fresh faces in this, no big named actors that have been in a thousand things, which is refreshing in every way. The humour is tinged in just the right amount of darkness, which is great but understated.
After watching lots of 'mainstream' films recently, this little gem was an absolute relief to watch.

Darkly humorous and quirky, this movie keeps you on your toes (and laughing) throughout. Incredible performances from the whole cast, and particular props to Rhys Darby for making what could have been a dislikeable character absolutely charming. Julian Ritchings is also at his finest, bringing depth to a complex character with some extemely funny moments. This was the first thing I've seen Gabrielle Graham in, but she was incredible and I look forward to hopefully seeing her in many more movies to come!
I saw this at a film festival when it first started premiering last year, and I've been waiting for it to get a wider release so I could convince everyone I know to go watch it, because I knew I had a ton of friends who would like it.

After reading the reviews I thought I would try it out. What a joke, why has this been given such a high rating? Its so bad its simply a waste of anyone's time unless you went into the cinema to get out of the cold.
The awesome reviews must have been written by the cast members or their families. I cannot think of any other reason unless they were paid to write them.
I did not even finish watching it, honestly it was that bad.
From the start it just shows how amateur the whole production is. The credits and the titles at the start have been created by someone that does not have any idea how to do graphics, the software must have been basic and just done on a computer.
The camera work is something high school students could produce in an afternoon. It's all over the place. The storyline jumps to people that we have no idea who they are or why they are involved at all. I really dont want to waste any more time on this to be fair.
Sorry but it's just my review and my opinion.

I enjoy Rhys Darby usually but the trailer's quirky scenes don't depict the quagmire of time-wasting dullness of the entire movie.
It starts bad, I hoped it would get better but it got worse.
My spouse couldn't watch the entire movie, bailed half way through, as other reviewers have, but I stayed until the bitter, drab end and we agreed I should write a review to warn people how terrible this movie is.
We enjoy time travel movies, we enjoy off-beat humor, twists and turns, surprises, unique characters, but the only surprise was how inane the writing and story and characters were. I hope to forget this movie.

This is a hilarious and cool movie.
I've seen Wrong Turn Part 6, but it doesn't matter which part it was because the guy who matters is on the cast list of all Wrong Turn parts. It's Julian Richings, the actor of "3 Finger".
I ended up on "Relax, I'm From The Future" because I checked movies with Julian Richings. What a happy coincidence.
This film captivated me from the first scene to the last. It is unique. All the actors do a good job, they are perfect for the roles they play. The lead role is a unique and very sympathic guy.
The story is cool and it is funny...... and keeps it simple: there is one reality, a self-adjusting mushy blob of reality or something, which keeps itself on the main track (something like that...) so we can go back in time and interact in the world, as long as we don't change important historical events and not kill important people (or let them live instead of dying as it is supposed to happen). As it turns out, most of us aren't important, most of us don't matter. But I don't want to spoil too much.
This movie is made to entertain and it serves its purpose.
This a low-budget movie that works perfectly fine because of a great idea and great execution.
