The teens hold a car wash to raise Money for a trip to the beach for the 4th of July. Amanda talks to Ethan about Brianna her cousin. And Derrick finds counsel with his friends and former army buddies Jared and Seth; while Grace bonds with Jessica.

It's the 4th of July and that brings about memories, both the good and the bad, as well as old and new ones too. But, the life decisions of our friends; Emma, Derrick, Amanda, Grace, Ethan, Chase and Natalie can only bring about the Inevitable.

In the wake of The 4th of July and Brianna's arrival, Ethan and Amanda have to deal with the consequences of their "fake dating", while Grace makes a bold decision about how she will cope during Derrick's tine of struggle with his night terrors. Where is God in the midst?

While Amanda, Ethan and the rest of the church group teens help Emily put on the Masquerade Ball for the VA fundraiser, Emma comes home from the hospital, the twins start to reconnect and Ryan pulls the last card he has left to play against Brianna.

It's been a roller coaster summer for Amanda, Ethan, Ryan, Grace, Derrick, and Natalie, but every season of life comes to an end. Ethan talks to Kayla while Amanda and Ryan seek to close up past hurts with Chase. Grace seeks to find the cause of her collapse while Derrick starts therapy for PTSD.
