Gripping romantic gem set during the Chinese Warlord Era

Yin Jingwan (Li Xioaran), a rich merchant's daughter from Wuchi in the south, saves Peilin/Fourth Master/Murong Feng (Wallace Chung), son of the Senior Military Governor of Chengzhou in the north, from assassins while on a train to his territory. That fateful encounter would lead to a passionate love affair amidst the chaos of warlord battles for supremacy up to the Sino-Japanese war.

This drama is unexpectedly good. The story is engrossing and the characters are compelling. The chemistry between Jingwan and Peilin is electrifying.
