the expectation

A film about friendship, expectation of college application results, life of a small town, a girl reading to a skeptic young man the episod of meet between The Savior and Samaritan woman, jokes between buddies, a honey eyes cat and the loneliness of Joao front to his future.

Well crafted , beautiful cinematography, interesting story defined by nuances, touching end.

A kind of film who I like for slow storytelling and remind of basic truths in honest - precise manner. In essence, a film about expectation, young people in small comunity, the church as axis and 20 years old guys lookinf for preserve the refuge on border between youth and adulthood.

In short, profound beautiful.
