Darth Vader has some of the most emotionally charged scenes in Star Wars canon, whether it be the various animated series, the live-action offerings, or the comics that Dinsey has been publishing with Marvel. The 2020 Darth Vader series, which received a lot of praise from fans and critics alike, holds one such moment that the franchise would be a fool to not bring over to live action.
However, trends, when it comes to Star Wars, have proven that if anything, this moment might be wiped from canon. Instead, the focus would probably be on some plot point that would rather cater to the pandering that Star Wars has decided to be party to.

Star Warshas at long last provided some context as to when Luke Skywalker's famed training remote from A New Hope was created, doing so in the children's show Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. Luke was famously seen training with this remote device on board the Millennium Falcon, and it has since reappeared in various places, including The Book of Boba Fett. Now, it's become a part of Young Jedi Adventure, though not without adding some key context to its origin.
In Young Jedi Adventures season 2, episode 12 "Unmasked," Kai Brightstar and his best friend, Prince Cyrus, train with the very same devices during the High Republic era, a few hundred years before A New Hope. During this lightsaber training, these remotes are specified as "new." This is important because, while the training remote has indeed been seen in other High Republic-era properties, this is the first time there's been an...

We’re about to get a new Star Wars book “quite unlike any before it.” This week, Del Rey announced Ronin, an original novel from Emma Meiko Candon, will arrive on Oct. 12.
The book is part of the Star Wars: Visions collection, an animated series coming to Disney+ comprised of separate stories from anime creators. Candon’s book Ronin is said to be inspired by one of the Visions stories, not a novelization of one of the episodes.
Here’s what Del Rey had to say about publishing a story from Star Wars newcomer Candon:
“…we’re so thrilled to have a vibrant new voice in Emma Mieko Candon joining the Star Wars author family. We can’t wait to share more of Emma’s story with you soon!”
This year, #StarWarsVisions will bring all-new, creative takes on Star Wars from the world’s best anime creators.

Last year’s animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions was very warmly received by fans who saw it as a breath of fresh air into the franchise which is approaching half a century in age.
The series was composed of 9 episodes handled by 7 different Japanese animation studios. Each had its own unique story to tell in vastly different styles of animation. These shorts were also given maximum creative freedom as they were not bound to the canon events of the Star Wars universe, meaning that anything could happen… even a musical sequence on Tatooine!
The series was praised for its originality. But the origins of the animated series go back further than you could possibly imagine. In fact, the key concepts that defined the series could be seen more than 15 years before its production.
Although this may seem far-fetched, Visions was not the first of its kind. Around 2005 during the...

Music has always been at the heart of Star Wars. John Williams’ iconic scores have defined more than one generation of sounds on the screen. Now, however, we have unabridged access to the tunes of the latest piece of Star Wars media as composed by an ensemble of talented Japanese composers with the official release of the soundtrack for Star Wars: Visions.
Announced by StarWars.com, the music from all nine of the anthology series shorts is available on any and all good music streaming services. Of particular note is of course the score for the second short, “Tatooine Rhapsody,” which features the actual vocals of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and has the distinction of being perhaps the most musically inclined edition to the Star Wars universe we have yet witnessed.

Andor Season 2 premieres in just a few weeks, and creator Tony Gilroy is a busy man with multiple appearances as promotion ramps up.
During a Star Wars official questions and answers session with fans on YouTube, Gilroy admitted feeling pressure to deliver in Season 2, as he believes Andor has set the bar quite high.
Via ScreenRant, Gilroy said, "Holy crap, we put the bar down here, and we're gonna get crushed if we don't deliver," while discussing possible fan backlash should Season 2 disappoint. Taking it a bit further, Gilroy added, "You see all the other shows, you see other shows where people had trouble sticking the landing, and you're like, 'Oh, my god, we have to,' like, so there's a new pressure."

It is a tall order anytime a film composer takes on the music for a Star Wars film. The legacy of John Williams and the rich music he provided for the Skywalker Saga is a huge part of the franchise. Michael Giacchino and John Powell both took on the music in Rogue One and Solo respectively.
Now, with the next film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, set to be released in 2026, there may be questions as to who will be the composer. Let's speculate who could score the next Star Wars film.
Who will be the composer for The Mandalorian & Grogu?
Ludwig Goransson is an obvious choice first choice. He composed the music for the first two seasons of The Mandalorian and several high-profile films. He's won two Oscars for Black Panther in 2019 and Oppenheimer in 2024. The musician provided a unique style to a galaxy far, far away and is one...

At the 2013 Academy Awards, visual effects supervisor Bill Westenhofer, accepting the award for Rhythm & Hues’ work on Ang Lee’s “Life of Pi,” approached the microphone. “Sadly, Rhythm & Hues is suffering serious financial difficulties now,” he said. “I urge you all to remember …”
Then they started playing John Williams’ ominous theme from “Jaws.” The camera cut to Nicole Kidman, who was seen mouthing the words “poor thing.” Had Westenhofer been able to finish his speech, it would have highlighted the deep schism between the visual effects and animation that audiences love and the financial realities for those who create them. Eleven days before the Oscar win, Rhythm & Hues had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
But what happened to Rhythm & Hues wasn’t a one-off; it was a warning shot. Twelve years later, two VFX and animation houses have shut their doors in a matter of weeks: Technicolor, whose studios like...

Andorshowrunner Tony Gilroy shared the "new pressure" of working on a Star Warsshow in a recent live interview, and he seemed to take a swipe at Star Wars TV shows that have come before. Andor season 2 is just around the corner, set to begin releasing on Disney+ on April 22nd. Because that date is fast approaching and there are only two currently confirmed upcoming Star Wars shows, there has been plenty of focus and attention on the second and final season of Andor.
During a live interview with Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy and several cast members from Andor season 1, posted on Star Warsofficial YouTube page, Gilroy spoke about the need to stick the landing, and he seemed to criticize what Star Wars TV shows have done before, although he worded this statement carefully. Star Wars: Underworld | Producer Rick McCallum on the “dark, sexy, violent” TV series that never was
Long before its purchase by Disney, Lucasfilm was working on a TV series, Star Wars: Underworld. Producer Rick McCallum has talked about why it never happened.
Revenge Of The Sith, the last Star Wars episode directed by George Lucas himself, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. And while that 2005 film marked the end of the prequel trilogy, Lucas still had plans to expand the Star Wars universe on television.
Announced around the time of Revenge Of The Sith’s release, the TV series Star Wars: Underworld was billed as a darker, edgier take on his space fantasy saga; Lucas once described it as being “based on film noir movies of the 1940s.”
Other people who worked on the show compared its tone to sweary western series Deadwood or gangster epic, The Godfather.
With Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D Moore among its stable of writers, Star Wars: Underworld was in development for at least five years,...

George Lucas’ “Star Wars” producer Rick McCallum recently appeared on an episode of the “Young Indy Chronicles” podcast and teased what would’ve been “Star Wars: Underworld,” an ambitious television series that was one of the last “Star Wars” projects Lucas was working on before he sold the franchise to Disney in 2012 for $4.05 billion. The series was set between the events of “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope” and would’ve acted as a bridge between the original “Star Wars” trilogy and the prequel trilogy, the later of which McCallum produced.
“I think we had over 60 scripts… like third draft scripts,” McCallum said, noting they brought the “most wonderful writers in the world” to Lucas’ Skywalker Ranch to map out and pen the series. “These were dark [scripts]. They were sexy. They were violent. They were absolutely wonderful, complicated, challenging scripts.”

What's the deal with "Star Wars"? I mean really, what's going on over there? It's now been over half a decade since the franchise last hit cinemas with a new movie, and even the recent Disney+ shows have been struggling. Despite reportedly solid ratings for series like "The Acolyte" and "Skeleton Crew," combined with some significant critical praise in the case of the latter, it seems that the money just hasn't been lining up. Part of that is due to the ever-tumultuous nature of the streaming business, but part of it also has to do with a lack of unified direction when it comes to "Star Wars." Thankfully, I have a plan to fix it. A little backseat billion-dollar franchise management never hurts, right?

Jon Favreau is reportedly developing a new hybrid live-action/animated series centered on Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The Walt Disney Studios project, which Favreau is writing and producing, marks the latest effort to spotlight one of Disney’s most historically significant characters.
Oswald’s Legacy and Disney’s Long Journey to Bring Him Home
Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks created Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a precursor to Mickey Mouse, in 1927. The character starred in 27 animated shorts. However, in 1928, control of the character shifted to Universal Pictures, prompting the duo to create Mickey Mouse as a replacement.
Oswald’s return to The Walt Disney Company became a personal mission for CEO Bob Iger, who secured the rights to the character in 2006. Since then, Oswald has made limited appearances in merchandise, theme parks, and special projects, but this new Disney+ series marks his most prominent role in decades.

The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau is staying in business with Disney. The filmmaker, who was also behind the company's live-action/CG reimaginings of The Jungle Book and The Lion King, is set to bring one of Walt Disney's first breakout cartoon characters back to the small screen.
According to Deadline, Favreau will write and produce an animation/live-action hybrid show centered around the saucy and self-absorbed Oswald the Lucky Rabbit for Disney+. The cartoon character was co-created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks for Universal Pictures, starring in 27 animated shorts between 1927 and 1938. However, Universal took control of the character in 1928, leading Disney to create a new character as Oswald's replacement. Enter Mickey Mouse, who would go on to become the face of The Walt Disney Company. When Bob Iger became CEO of Disney, he became committed to acquiring the trademark of Oswald, succeeding in 2006.

Over the last decade, Jon Favreau has been a linchpin of Disney+’s original series slate with flagship The Mandalorian and its offshoots while also taking on classic Disney animated characters on the feature side with the live-action/photorealistically animated The Jungle Book and the photorealistically animated The Lion King. Now he is combining the two with a new series in development at Disney+, Deadline has learned.
The animation/live action hybrid is about Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, a saucy, self-absorbed bunny. Favreau is writing and producing the project from Walt Disney Studios.

Over the past 40 plus years, the Star Wars universe has played host to some phenomenal talent. Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford kicked off the franchise with A New Hope way back in 1977. Since then, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac, Samuel L. However, one actor you might have completely forgotten appeared in Star Wars is John Lithgow. The rumors of Kathleen Kennedy's retirement plans have been greatly exaggerated, and the legendary Hollywood producer is setting the record straight. On Monday, Feb. 25, 2025, a report by the publication Puck stated that Kennedy, the president of Lucasfilm and the architect of the Star Warsfranchise under Disney since 2012, would be stepping down and retiring in 2025. As so often happens, what started as a rumor was quickly interpreted as fact. But, it seems, this is not the case.
Speaking with Deadline, Kathleen Kennedy cleared up her status at Lucasfilm. She clarified that she is not retiring, though she is beginning to train people to be her successors for when the day comes, in contrast to the Puck article, which stated that Kennedy had failed to train a protégée. Here is Kennedy's full quote, so everything is clear and there are no more misconceptions. Kennedy said:

Kathleen Kennedy may not be retiring from Lucasfilm this year after all. Hours after Puck dropped a bombshell report that Kennedy intends to retire from her position as Lucasfilm President by the end of this year, CNN spoke with an anonymous source who claims otherwise.
According to the latest update from CNN, a source familiar with the situation over at Lucasfilm stated "there's nothing there right now."
The source went on to emphasize that an announcement of Kennedy's retirement will be made "public" when "actual decisions are made."
Initial rumors claimed that Kennedy had told associates that she intends to retire by the end of 2025. Multiple Hollywood trades picked up the story, suggesting there was some legitimacy to claim.
The rumor continued to gain traction with additional reports claiming that Ahsoka and Star Wars Rebels showrunner Dave Filoni is already being eyed as her successor.

Dave Filoni and Kevin Feige: these names have been making the rounds in the news cycles ever since it was reported that Kathleen Kennedy will probably be stepping down at the end of 2025 from her position as Lucasfilm’s president.

Her tumultuous reign as Lucasfilm’s head has had fans very disappointed in the Disney era of Star Wars, with shows like The Acolyte, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and The Book of Boba Fett being the steps that led to her descent from grace in the eyes of fans. There is one name that seems like a logical choice to take over from Kennedy, but remains to be seen how this person could usher in a new regime.

Kathleen Kennedy became the president of Lucasfilm in 2012, when Disney bought the company for $4 billion. With original founder George Lucas gone, it fell to Kennedy to chart the next era of Star Wars. Now, after 13 years and a great many highs and lows, Puck reports that Kennedy, who is now 71 years old, will retire by the end of the year.
It will be the end of an era at Lucasfilm, and different fans will tell you whether it was a good or a bad one. Kennedy relaunch the Star Wars film franchise in 2015 with The Force Awakens, which grossed over $2 billion at the box office. Follow-up films The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker were also big hits, but much more contentious among fans. Under Kennedy, Lucasfilm tried to get into a rhythm of releasing standalone Star Wars movies; Rogue One was a big hit while Solo became the...

Kathleen Kennedy has ruled over the Star Wars empire for more than a decade, but it looks like she might finally be moving on from this Galaxy Far, Far Away.
As first reported by Puck (via SFFGazette.com), the Lucasfilm President has told associates that she intends to retire by the end of 2025. There's definitely something to this as the story has been picked up by the Hollywood trades (this story also carries more weight than the wishful thinking often shared by YouTubers).
If Kennedy does plan on stepping down, then she's unlikely to be missed by the majority of Star Wars fans.
She joined Lucasfilm as co-chair alongside Star Wars creator George Lucas in 2012 and later took over following his exit when Disney acquired the company for $4 billion.
Initially, Kennedy found great success in the role. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a box office hit that grossed $2 billion worldwide.

Kathleen Kennedy might be stepping down as the President of Lucasfilm come the end of 2025, which has gotten a lot of Star Wars fans rejoicing. There is no concrete announcement that has supported this claim yet, Puck News has reported that Kennedy has already begun talking with higher-ups at Disney and her associates about her retirement.

Kennedy’s exit has brought on a lot of excitement from Star Wars fans, who largely hold the Lucasfilm President for the recent state of the franchise. Be it the mishandling of the Sequel Trilogy, or the run of shows like The Acolyte and The Book of Boba Fett, all the failures, at least by the fandom, have been laid at the feet of Kathleen Kennedy, whose possible exit has been looked at as a new era for Star Wars.

Temuera Morrison is widely recognized for his role in the Star Wars universe, where he first played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones (2002). Since Jango was the template for the Republic’s clone army, Morrison has gone on to portray many of his clones, including Boba Fett.
He later voiced Boba in The Empire Strikes Back (2004 re-release) and various video games before fully stepping into the role in The Mandalorian and its spin-off, The Book of Boba Fett.
Now industry insider Daniel Richtman reports that Temuera Morrison will play Captain Rex in a live-action Star Wars project. However, he is not completely sure which project it is. He assumes it will be Ahsoka Season 2, but it has not been officially confirmed.
Morrison already voiced Captain Rex in the first season of ‘Ahsoka’ so it’s not that far fetched at all to assume that he will appear in person in the second season.

Star Trek: The Original Series premiered way back in 1966, and even all these later, a 93-year-old William Shatner is still known to the public mainly as Captain Kirk. It's a role he embraced the other weekend when he accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd Annual Saturn Awards. “Nobody knew that 60 years later, you and I would be talking about it. This show is just phenomenal,” he told US Weekly. “It’ll be really in our lifetime, impossible to repeat, because it would take some entertainment to exist for 60 years from now to equal what Star Trek has done. We won’t be alive then.”
It is indeed very impressive that, decades later, not only would people still know about Star Trek, but that the franchise would be this prolific. Recent years have seen an explosion in new Star Trek shows, from Discovery to Picard to Lower Decks to Strange New Worlds and beyond.

Yellowjackets star Sophie Thatcher has expressed interest in returning to the Star Wars franchise. Thatcher previously played the cyborg gang leader Drash in The Book of Boba Fett.
The 2021 Disney+ series centered around reformed bounty hunter Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) seizing control of crime boss Jabba the Hutt's territory on Tatooine with the help of his trusted associate Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). Thatcher's character Drash and fellow cyborg Skad (Jordan Bolger) initially opposed Fett before he gained their respect and they agreed to join forces.

Sophie Thatcher had the pleasure of appearing in The Book of Boba Fett in 2022 as the leader of the Mods biker gang. Like many actors who have been lucky enough to join the franchise, she would be totally down for a return -- and we'd be glad to have her.
"I would love to," she told Inverse when asked if she'd ever return to a galaxy far, far away. “The Star Wars universe is so vast and so dense and so interesting, and Jon Favreau made it feel very political and very timely. It's such a cool universe. I would do it in a heartbeat.”
Some people didn't like the Mods (or The Book of Boba Fett), but they actually stood out as unique elements as Favreau attempted to worldbuild Tatooine in a very particular post-Return of the Jedi time period. Thatcher could easily fit right back into the universe,...

Actor Mark Hamill first portrayed the iconic Star Wars character Luke Skywalker nearly 50 years ago in 1977. He was even younger than that when they actually filmed the first movie. So it's not a huge surprise that at 73 years old, he doesn't look quite the way he did in the original trilogy films.
But as he explained recently on the Smartless podcast, it does come as a shock to young Star Wars fans in particular. When they spot him in public, they can't help but wonder why this so-called Luke Skywalker doesn't look like the one on their televisions or computer screens.
"This has been happening for 20 or 30 years," he said. "They think we made Star Wars two weeks ago. There's nothing to really date it in terms of models of cars or clothing or whatever. So they have no concept of time."
I hate to admit that something similar happened...

There have been many memorable side characters in the Star Wars franchise. They have ranged from all kinds of species and genders. One memorable group was the Mods gang from The Book of Boba Fett.
The Mods made their first appearance in the third episode, "The Streets of Mos Espa." They are a group of young cyborgs who lack work in Mos Espa, in turn initially being thieves to survive. But soon, the gang was recruited by Boba Fett as security guards and assistants to help keep the area safe. They were featured in the climactic battle of Mos Espa and were heroic in defeating the Pyke Syndicate. With Fett and Fennec Shand's crew at the end of the series, it seemed as if they were victorious in making Tatooine free and safe.

Sophie Thatcher may not quite be a household name, at least not yet, anyway. For horror lovers of the world, however, she has quickly ascended the Hollywood ranks to become one of our modern go-to stars for high-profile genre fare. To that end, Thatcher is now headlining director Drew Hancock's "Companion," which /Film's Chris Evangelista hailed as the first great movie of 2025. Not only is the movie damn good, but it also had a damn fine opening weekend at the box office.
"Companion" opened to an estimated $9.5 million, debuting in second domestically behind the unexpectedly big animated hit "Dog Man" ($36 million), which hails from DreamWorks. Coming in second was by no means a bad thing, though, as Hancock's twisty sci-fi thriller cost a mere $10 million to make (before marketing). Considering it also pulled in $5.5 million overseas, it's well on its way to becoming profitable for Warner Bros. It might not be a massive hit,...

Fourteen years after “Final Destination 5” made a bloody splash in theaters, the trailer for the newest addition to the long-running horror franchise, “Final Destination: Bloodlines,” has released just in time for the series’ 25th anniversary.
Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, who previously worked together on 2018’s “Freaks” and “Kim Possible,” are directing a script from Guy Busick (“Scream VI”) and Lori Evans (“Lucky Dog”). This sixth film marks Lipovsky and Stein’s entryway into “Final Destination,” continuing the franchise’s trend of bringing on fresh directors.
The trailer shows a tattoo artist giving a client a painful tongue piercing before giving himself a tattoo. As he works, he doesn’t notice a series of chain reaction that unfolds and ultimately results in his death. The film has been praised for its deeply layered relatability to sexism, with stars Quaid and Sophie Thatcher, who play the on-screen couple of Iris and Josh, praised for their performances.

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy," Obi-Wan Kenobi once told Luke Skywalker. The old Jedi Master was referring to Mos Eisley spaceport, but he may as well have been talking about the Star Wars galaxy as a whole. The galaxy far, far away is known as a place rocked by vast military conflicts, whether it's between the Rebellion and the Empire, or the Republic and the Separatists. Outside of these conflicts, however, are various criminal factions and notorious outlaws.
Just as essential to Star Wars are the galaxy's bounty hunters, pirates, smugglers and crime lords. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi infamously spent its entire first act in the domain of Tatooine's most powerful gangster, Jabba the Hutt. Similarly, the bounty hunter Boba Fett has become one of Star Wars' most iconic characters, despite having precious little screen time in the movies.

Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, the wife-and-husband producers who have 13 Oscar nominations and an Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award between them, will be honored at the Oscar Wilde Awards next month.
The 19th annual event is scheduled for Feb. 27, three days before the Academy Awards, at the historic Ebell theater in Los Angeles. Actors John C. Reilly and Éanna Hardwicke will be saluted as well.
Also new to the lineup is Will Ferrell, who will introduce Reilly and hand him his trophy. The pair, of course, have co-starred in such films as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Step Brothers (2008) and Holmes & Watson (2018).
Created by the US-Ireland Alliance, the Oscar Wilde Awards celebrate the work of those from Ireland — and some who are not — who contribute to film, television and music. (Kennedy, with eight Oscar noms, and Marshall, with five, are Californians born in Berkeley and Glendale, respectively.

Bryce Dallas Howard has quickly become one of the most beloved Star Wars directors in recent years. Her work throughout The Mandalorian has been praised, and her episode on The Book of Boba Fett is one of the highest-rated of the series on IMDb. Her latest addition with Skeleton Crew was groundbreaking, resonating with fans. She sat down with Lucasfilm's Paige Lyman to discuss what it was like working with the young actors and her inspiration for episode 6, "Zero Friends Again."
Howard said, "There’s kind of two elements that were very exciting to me about this episode. One was the notion of a breakup in female friendship, young female friendship in particular, between Kyriana Kratter’s Kb and Ryan Kiera Armstrong’s Fern. That’s very specific and something I and most people have experienced.”
These kinds of stories are Howard's strengths, something we see throughout her Star Wars work.

Everyone remembers when they learned that Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father. Some folks were fortunate enough to catch it in the theater back in 1980 or shortly after when "The Empire Strikes Back" made its way to home video. As a 1990s kid, I saw it sometime around 1999 when I watched the original trilogy for the first time in the lead-up to the release of "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace." The reveal blew my tiny little mind, and there's a reason it's not just one of the greatest moments in the entire "Star Wars" franchise, but also one of the greatest movie moments ever. Unfortunately, it's a reveal that has become such an unignorable part of America's pop culture fabric, there are also an immeasurable number of people who likely learned about Luke Skywalker's paternity discovery from a bit in "Tommy Boy," a joke on "Family Guy,...

There are plenty of weird aliens roaming around the "Star Wars" universe, but one of the earliest ones the property introduced was the Tusken Raiders. He then tells Luke they need to leave the scene soon, explaining, "The Sand People are easily startled but they will soon be back, and in greater numbers."
We don't see a whole lot of the Tusken Raiders after this in the original trilogy, but they do make a major return in the prequels, most notably when Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) murders a whole bunch of them -- men, women, and children alike. It's a dark moment for the character, but...

According to the rumors, 25 years after her first appearance in The Phantom Menace, Natalie Portman may return to Star Wars as Padme Amidala.
The Kristian Harloff Show recently claimed that the Black Swan actress is in talks with Lucasfilm about reprising the role in Ahsoka Season 2 and that showrunner Dave Filoni is keen to make it happen. According to Harloff, Ewan McGregor will also return to Star Wars in the Rosario Dawson-led Disney+ series.
Given that Ahsoka is set in the New Republic era, between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, it is long after Padme’s heartbreaking death during childbirth. Portman’s prequel co-star Hayden Christensen’s Force Ghost Anakin was an integral part of the first season, helping Ahsoka finish her training when she was stuck in the World Between Worlds. Padme was never shown to be Force-sensitive. So, the possibility of...

The Mandalorian & Grogu is one of Lucasfilm's most intriguing - and exciting - upcoming projects. Originally conceived as The Mandalorian season 4, similar to Moana 2, Disney CEO Bob Iger moved it from streaming to theaters (making this the first big screen Star Wars story since 2019's The Rise of Skywalker).
Filmmaker Jon Favreau has assembled an impressive cast for the movie, including The Bear star Jeremy Allan White as Rotta the Hutt, a character fans of The Clone Wars will remember well.
It's previously been reported that Jabba the Hutt's son will rock a "buff" look in The Mandalorian & Grogu, and Bespin Bulletin (via SFFGazette.com) has today shared some additional details. It's said Rotta will be a gladiator in the movie, rocking scars on his face from the fights he's been involved in over the years.
