Before Magnum, P.I

Two cowboys are wannabe detectives in Nashville, Tennessee after they hop a train following a rigged poker game. They investigate blackmail within the country music world when they come across country legends like Ray Stevens and Barbara Mandrell. They avoid car bombs, and sudden gunshots. Yet, they always come on top. Tom Selleck has the knack to research, that's why he ended up becoming Thomas Magnum, years later.

This TV movie is loaded with stats. And it was not even made in Hollywood. It's too bad for the TV show to have a few episodes. I think switching a co-star brought it down. What a pity!

2 out of 5 stars.
