I need to know what happened when they went back home. I wanted to know if his brother got punched in the face for saying something inappropriate. Would the parents say that she was better for Seth? WHAT HAPPENED NEXT???
For see it, some effort was necessary in my case. Because medical part seems fake or sappy. Because the dilemma between brothers sounds not so realistic. And the try of actors to offer something reasonable has not exactly happy results.
But the good intentions, obvious, are noble enough to not be very critic about Identical love and see with good dose of indulgence the work of Scott Christopher to give to his character the air of lobely hero from some country song having new chance.
Like many Hallmark films, nice can be reasonable term to define it. The romance - unrealistic but it represents the only purpose. So, not so bad.

Falling for the identical twin of the man who dumped her. Interesting aspect about looking beyond the outside appearance to see the person inside. Twins can be totally different inside is the message. But that doesn't take away the icky factor if the sibling's ex. The male lead is a bit sickly looking. More like a patient than a doctor. Shae Robins is fairly sweet if indistinguishable from many other actresses.
There are a few shocking inaccuracies. Filipino peoples speak English and do not need a translator. Why would they do that in this day and age. Also the islands with the jagged peaks are totally Polynesia. So unlike S E Asia. Should just have set it in Polynesia instead.
Not worth watching.

The scenery steals the show! The female lead was so
listless and unbelievable and as a physician that it was no
wonder her fiancee left her. The male lead was better
but it was probably a struggle to make a romance
from a wedding disaster. The secondary romance
was more believable and low key. For a medical
mission it needed at least some medical problems
to treat; too much time sightseeing and laying
around the beach and pool. The climax where the
four were stranded never felt like they were in any
kind of trouble, a missed opportunity in the story.
The coincidences were too much- twin brothers, one nice and the other not so; then the major coincidence of meeting in the Philippines by chance.

This was a fun and interesting journey though could have become a gripping series - so much to explore. I deducted a star for the distasteful reminder of the poisonous jabs ferried out to remote islands - oh no.... not content for a fun escape film.....
