    Excellent

Independent Turkish production, whose theatrical release after excellent reviews and awards at several international festivals, has finally been announced in Turkey for next March 29, 2024.

It is important to highlight the excellent performance of its two main protagonists Eflatun and Olaf.

Kerem Bursin internationally recognized and admired actor in the role of Olaf alongside Irem Helvacioglu in the role of Eflatun.

The plot revolves around love combined with the sensations and feelings that human beings are capable of perceiving far beyond the feeling of sight and therefore the physical appearance, simply from a tone of voice.

A priori there is no doubt that this is a really interesting and different argument.

It is very important to highlight how difficult it is in today's film industry for an independent production to be released without the support of any production company.

Eflatun has been able to achieve this Congratulations.

symphony that mesmerizes from the very first note and doesn't let go until the final chord

This film became a symphony for me! Enchanting in its sounds and beyond.

What a magnificent sound this film has! There is something incredible about it! A perfect harmony! And, of course, the voice of Oflaz (Kerem Bürsin).

I found the director's choice to show the world through the prism of shimmering colors and shadows in Eflâtun's imagination extraordinary and original.

And, of course, symbolism is present in everything: in the sounds, colors, objects, phrases, movements, and scenes. Nothing is superfluous. A high and perfect harmony of every element.

A very delicate, fascinating, aesthetic, and at the same time deeply touching and passionate film. A work that leaves a deep mark on the soul and an endless trail of reflections on the meaning of life.

In one word, a symphony that mesmerizes from the very first note and doesn't let go until the final chord.

Kerem Bürsin is incredible here, as he is everywhere! Once again, I was amazed by his outstanding acting professionalism! A true master of transformation! The actress Irem Helvacioglu, who played Eflâtun, was very natural and authentic.

    Eflatun takes one breath away

    I'm impressed with the film.

I watched it in one breath. Kerem Bursin's voice is magic!!!

Before the movie started, the Director said that he wanted to understand the world of blind people, to take this world into his world of sighted people and take the feelings of blind people emotionally.

I liked the fact that Kerem is not pulling a blanket on himself here, so the role of Eflatun is a major one.

Irem is just peerless!!! To play a blind girl without emphasizing her inferiority, to show all the beauty and complexity of her worldview through sounds, smells... Amazing!

About Kerem: He's different in this film. I haven't seen him like this anywhere else. Soft, minor, but also very sensual and deep!!! Not one hug, not one kiss, but how he conveys that love has entered his life, not tactile, but on the level of accepting the inner world of Eflatun - a seemingly completely blind world, but full of the colors of music, songs, smells and associations. Magic...

The movie has so many beautiful frames with Kerem's hands, eyes, there is no emphasis on muscularity and brutality. The focus is on the eyes, lips, hands. And of course on the voice!!!

I understand that this film is not for the general public, but for those who understand and feel love at the level of communication, words, half-eyes....

    It's a great movie

"If I were asked what no one has a monopoly on, I think my answer would be emotions. Fear, grief, love, jealousy, although there are too many to list, but essentially they are all emotions. The kind of feeling that will last in us during the movie and after. From the very first day I started writing Eflatun to the end of the movie, I followed the feeling that we can fall in love with someone whose voice we hear. I can say that my protagonist will carry that feeling through" From an interview with director D. Karakush.

Another movie, independent, authorial, which has been to more than one film festival. A beautiful movie about the touching, delicate love of a blind girl who falls in love with a young man who has everything except inner harmony with himself.

Not a typical, chamber movie with a deep meaning, where attention to detail is emphasized, the musical accompaniment is at its best.

Quiet, subtle acting of Kerem Bürsin, as if shades the main character, bringing her to the foreground.

Incredibly beautiful images, warm fall colors, unhurried flow of narration give the viewer a sense of lightness and peace.

I highly recommend it to a thoughtful viewer who pays attention to details, because the emotions this movie gives are priceless.

    The best film about love

One of the best films about love. It's a beautiful story. Sensual, very soulful.

The film is incredibly bright. I have so many emotions and aftertaste... And from the first to the last frame. I watched this movie until the very end credits, I just couldn't stop the music. And at all.

All the ambitions of the director are fully justified.

This is really the most romantic and most wonderful film about love.

The pandemic was terrible, but even in the worst there is something good. Eflyatun.

This is a movie for everyone, for the widest range.

I was afraid of some kind of hopelessness and depression, but I repeat, the film is very bright, warm, emotional in the best sense of the word. So many powerful scenes. That's really every frame is valuable.

Well, actually, this is basically one of the best films I've seen. And among the melodramas, perhaps the best.
