A horrible movie. Horrible. And there is no other word to describe it.
Badly shot, with an amateur montage, and sequences that have no logic, randomly placed throughout the film.
This movie stars old softcore actresses who believe they are still sexy at 50. Unfortunately for them, no.
Perhaps with younger actresses and a few more topless (there is not even a nudity scene throughout all the movie) could was be better, but the problem is general.
There's not a single idea to tell something, the dialogues are simply dumb and the Bigfoot is ridicolous.

No plot worth wasting time on. The women are way too old, flabby and gross to be "hot" in a movie like this. Looks like mid-life crisis on film. Bigfoot is a dude in a bad costume who goes around chasing people. These old ladies are hunting it even though this looks like the first time they ever held a weapon. Like flab on a trampoline?
I rarely review anything online, but clearly IMDb is in need of an opinion from someone who actually enjoys this type of material.
Jim Wynorski still has it. Perhaps "casual viewers" may not know what they've got themselves into, but for fans of his work, this one is a real treat. It's chock full of hilarious one-liners and perfect comedic timing. Seeing these actresses continue to appear in his films today (especially with a sense of self-awareness) warms my heart. They are so much fun to watch and have genuine chemistry together. From the cut-aways, to the montages, to the cameo from the Director himself, this felt like a classic Wynorski flick in every sense and I'm glad that he's still doing what he does best. I haven't laughed this much in a long time and recommend this film to fans of his early 90s material.

They could have done better making Big Foot look more realistic. Unfortunately the best thing about the movie was seeing the busty women of which most of them were beautiful prancing around showing off their wares. Other than that the movie was a waste of time.
This was a bust alright.
Of course, when I sat down to watch the 2022 comedy "Bigfoot or Bust", I wasn't really harboring much of any hopes or expectations to the movie. I mean, just look at the catch phrase on the movie's cover/poster; "the breast bigfoot movie ever made!". If that isn't an indicator of bad taste, then I don't know what is.
But I still opted to watch "Bigfoot or Bust", on the account that it might possibly actually be a comedy worth watching, or at least a movie so bad that it becomes enjoyable to watch. But that was not the case in either instances. Writer and director Jim Wynorski delivered one of the most infantile and ridiculous movies I have ever sat down to watch. And believe you me, I have seen my share of dubious movies. But "Bigfoot or Bust" definitely is top contender for being one of the worst movies I have suffered through.
The storyline is essentially non-existing, unless you consider a handful of mature, scantily clad women with toy guys prowling the wilderness to track a guy in a costume that must have been bought off of Wish as being entertainment. That hardly constituted being enjoyable entertainment for me, so this movie was a massive swing and a miss. Especially since it was hardly more than just having the mature women doing random dancing, jumping on a trampoline, splashing water and such on themselves throughout the course of the movie. Not only was it embarrassing to witness, but it was also just a waste of film and time.
As for the acting performances in the movie, well, let's just say that you shouldn't be betting your hard-earned money on this.
Sure, I wasn't expecting much in terms of a proper creature in the movie, but a costume so horrible fake and seeming like something imported from the Wish shopping page, was just laughable beyond belief. It was so ridiculously bad to witness.
The positive thing about "Bigfoot or Bust" is that it definitely looked like the cast and film crew were having fun filming and participating in this hideous thing of a movie.
My rating of "Bigfoot or Bust" lands on a one out of ten stars. And this is definitely not something I would recommend you waste your time, money or effort on. It is just unfathomable to comprehend how something like this ever gets to see the light of day.

- TriviaAs of March 2022, the horror comedy's plot still hadn't been revealed and a trailer hadn't been released, though based on the cast and preview images, fans suspected the film would focus more on busts than Bigfoot. But when the film came out, it featured no nudity, which is rare for a Wynorski movie.
