Another ruined by soundtrack

This is another Hallmark/PIXL movie ruined by a lousy music score. These Hallmark soundtracks try to be spiritual and in most cases it fails. The story covers age gaps of three generation mother, daughter and granddaughter. Mother played by a laughingly gun toting Angie Dickenson in I believe her final role. Wish it could have been a better role. Her pulling out a handgun at a community meeting was way over done. The highlight, if any, was performance by the granddaughter played by Shanley Caswell. Laura Leighton also played a nice part. Problem was the story was simplistic which probably needed for a Hallmark audience. This gets 3/10 stars from me losing two stars for the music score. Whoever the composer was a BIG thumbs down which is 75% of all Hallmarks soundtracks.

Spoiled by music music music

I tried to watch this made for TV movie today, but had to give up after half an hour. Why may you ask?

Simply that the dialogue could not be heard due to the constant non stop music. What is it about Larry Levinson productions or Hallmark Films that we have to have music, music, and more music all the time?

The personnel who arrange for non stop music in these budget production films should be castrated and boiled in their own oil. Music is fine in the right place and can enhance a film and often does, but to play music non stop, especially over the actor's dialogue is totally wrong.

Perhaps they feel the film cannot stand on it's own feet without non-stop music, but they have made a big mistake.

Approximately 30 minutes in the movie, the grandmother drops a piece of silverware on the floor, the close up shows her using both hands trying to find it, while the long shots show her with a fist full of silverware in one hand and one on the floor.
