astonishing

Héliopolis was fantastic. I had no idea what it was about or what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised. Excellent writing, acting and direction.. Kept my attention throughout. Might be one of the best films if not the best film that I saw all year. It deserves a lot more attention.

Everything is probably perfect it contains a real historical event. I highly recommend.

This movies touches you

The script wasnt that magical but it was filmed in such a great way with high class acting and of course the soundtrack that was just RIGHT for every scene.

A masterpiece

I just watched it at the theatre, and I can tell you that everything was on point, the script, the wonderful music, the acting, the framing, none of the details has been missed. And above all, the movie approached a wound that is still bleeding in the heart of all algerians, very emotional !

A must watch !
