Stuck Like Chuck

Top notch low budget film made by a top notch guy... I love Jerry's passion.. I love the fact that he fights for what he believes in... and he believes in his film. Go on folks - spend two hours checking out a heart warming film with two characters that you can actually relate to. But the real star here is Jerry. Kudos... can't wait to see the next project he pours his heart into. Back in 2009, Jerry was the "squeeky wheel" at the Orlando Film Festival - and his passion and goofy-yet-good guy attitude was endearing to everyone who met him. We loved having him at at the Orlando Film Festival - and would welcome him back with open arms for future projects.

First off: This movie deserves a solid 7/10 stars, but to my surprise its rating is much lower then what it should be so i gave it a 10 to bring it up a bit.

This movie had me laughing from beginning to end with a few unexpected twists that really made the movie independent comedy gold. The director, Jerry Cavallaro, I think did a great job all around with putting this film together. I felt that the cast had very good chemistry and played their roles very well.

One of the many things that i really appreciated in the movie was the movie quotes hanging all around classroom. I found that to be very unique and a nice addition to the setting of what could of been a boring looking classroom. It's the little things count!

This movie was excellent for an independent film. I've seen so many comedy ones, but this one by far was the best. I've been wanting to see this movie when rumors where just getting around. The acting and awkward silences are amazing. Sitting there through the awkwardness made me feel like I was actually in Charlie a.k.a Chuck's position. If you have a thing for humor and is in to indented film's then by all means, Go watch it! "It's like a bad movie"!I was just sitting there dying laughing. The way the movie ends... You just don't expect that! I really did enjoy it! The sequel should be just and if not better than the first one!

Saw at Buffalo Niagara Film Fest 2010 The female lead is definitely appealing... Not much action.. Sequel Stuck on Chuck II is promised.. This auteur bears watching.. The contemporary attitudes etc expressed are not particularly original, but are presented in good taste.. the alternative endings are interesting.. One would hope that this auteur will be able to extend his creative talent to the Real World .. we need watchable intelligent films .. Very poor support (Mon night, Sabres Game) for this Buffalo festival.. perhaps will improve later in week. The Film Professor actor is a dead ringer for Chris Elliot; homage to Tina Fey is funny, but not particularly believable. Congratulations to the auteur on this effort. A pre-movie appeal offers CD's etc if you support him.
