Molly Brandenburg sounds like a government apologist.

The intro says "neither of us are conspiracy theorists, but we are open minded, skeptical and curious. Don't get us wrong. Sometimes the official version is the truth, but sometimes it's not."

But the more you listen to the episodes, the more you're convinced that Molly Brandenberg is an establishment apologist in disguise. In almost all the episodes, her rating of the conspiracy theory is inevitably lower than that of Carter Roy's, even when all the evidence presented pointing to the validity of such a theory.

So I'd say BS to "Until then, remember, the truth isn't always the best story, and the official story isn't always the truth." Because every time Molly tries her very best to play down the truth.

    Hmmmm

This podcast is called 'Conspiracy Theories' but you wouldn't think there's ever been a conspiracy with the way they talk. They always rate it as the official version of events. That Molly woman's opinion is of little relevance. Had to look to find a more objective podcast in the same genre.

Kept giving them a chance but their thoughts on 9/11 convinced me that this isn't open minded AT ALL. Maybe they should start using different people to narrate, who actually are open minded for a much more balanced view. Also get a lot of facts wrong. I've done more research than they have. Is it possible to tell how people vote just by hearing their opinions. I say yes.

Subjects are interesting. The podcasters, not so much

I found this podcast on a media site and was attracted to it. I have listened to the first year or so of the shows. I like the information presented in the podcast. However, it seems that the producers tried to find the most boring presenters to be the face of it. Both of them present the information as if they are news broadcasters, without so much as a HINT of emotion.

The podcast has something going for it in that respect. It' is divided into two parts, for the most part. The first episode of the generally two part episode is like a history lesson (and I love history), giving the background behind the event or person discussed and what happened. The second part has the two discussing one or more of the conspiracies that have cropped up over the years, and their ratings of the plausibility that the conspiracy is true.

Both of them (Carter Roy and Molly Brandenburg by name) are qualified presenters of the information, but their delivery is much to be desired. I think it would benefit better from.a tete-a-tete style rather than just a news broadcast format.

    Amazing podcast. Highly recommend.

This podcast looks at different sides of some of the biggest conspiracy theories ever. Great perspectives on different theories of each story. And none byest. I can listen to these guys all through out the day without having to take a break. They go through really every type of conspiracy theorie you could think of and more. I would at least give them a chance. These guys are not conspiracy theorists either. I have been listening to them for several years now and I have not herd one story I did not like at all. I would give them 20 stars if I could. I hope they keep there podcast going until I get super old and grumpy.

You got some podcast on your advertisements

Far too many ads. When there aren't actual ad break segments, the narrator is talking about a promotion for multiple minutes multiple times over the course of the podcast. I also found the content itself sort of long-winded by repeating things to the point of annoyance. Just continual summaries and cliffhangers that almost make you laugh in how long some dramatic pauses are.

While many of their casts aren't actual conspiracy theories, but a case about a missing person/s, there are some interesting episodes that make you ask questions at the right time, and the narrator answers. These moments however, are few and far between, and I find myself getting impatient with episodes and skipping them before the conclusion is reached, because I'm sick of getting strung along.
