I'm a huge fan of LMN movies but this is not at all one of their better ones.
The plot is very slow moving and really goes nowhere through the whole film. Sometimes LMN movies will give you some interesting twists and turns, but not here.
The acting here was very amateurish. Even General Hospital / LMN regular Andrea Bogart can't make it work. The only bright spot was Jacqueline Scislowski who should have a future in other LMN movies and maybe a little beyond that. She'll do well if they can get her a decent script and competent cast.
I have to agree with the other reviewer who noted that the moves the cheerleaders were doing were incredibly amateurish compared to real competitive cheerleading (which is a thing).

Mariah Robinson is an appealing actress and the rest of the cast is fine but they're not enough to save "Cheer Camp Killer". The material is just not there. The movie is actually pretty dull. The story doesn't really go anywhere. Unfortunately, I found "Cheer Camp Killer" pretty forgettable. Honorable mention: a dreamy Andrea Bogart.
This was an amateurish movie centering on a black high school cheerleader. Sophia, who becomes the envy of a mother with a daughter who is pushed to eliminate her cheerleader competition at any cost. Sophia is next on her list. What happens? I don't think anyone really cares except another high schooler. Skip it!
I remember on October 10, 2020 (the release date), Me and my Mom were watching Lifetime. I saw this and said "I would like to see this". Since we have Xfinity TV, She could record it and watch it any time. So I watched it today and it was not expecting it to be a drama. I was expecting a slasher film about cheerleaders being murdered one by one. But, I give it a 7 because, It is still a good film. I was happy to see one of my favorite actresses had a role in the film, Jacqueline Scislowski.

What was Cheer Camp Killer about?:
It was about a group of Cheerers wanting a title shot at a scholarship.
There they meet a Female Loki who tries to sabotage her way to the top.
The story and the production overview:
Sophia was Fine...
Don't see these type of females in hollywood budget films.
Anyways... the story was interesting. My only compliant is how the dialogue is so cliche and cr*nge. This was filmed in 2020 and they are still using redundant dialogues.
The mom was probably the worse. Iunno how her daughter didn't laugh when she was talking to her. I would have.
Highlight:
Sophie... mainly at the end she showed off her curves. She was fine...
Moral:
Not much any of the victims could do. I think it's the perps parent's duty to guide her daughter in a better direction, even when they are filled with baggage.
Rating:
I like it.
Final Words:
Would only watch it again for Sophia.
