Reviewers say 'Ma Belle, My Beauty' is acclaimed for its nuanced depiction of polyamorous relationships and complex character dynamics. The South of France setting is praised for its stunning cinematography and immersive atmosphere. Performances by Idella Johnson and Sivan Noam Shimon are lauded for authenticity and depth. The soundtrack enhances the sensory experience, though some find the story uninteresting or characters unlikable. The film's calm narration and strong photography are highlighted, with a few noting it occasionally feels like a tourist advertisement.

An intimate look into the uncertainty of a tender, unusual love story developing between social "pressure" and personal changes. The narration is purposely calm, yet very intense, that Hill managed to balance perfectly counting on some great acting and a strong photography. A gorgeous French landscape and an extemporaneousy beautiful soundtrack works as a serendipitous background to the brief period of the protagonists lives captured in the movie. I strongly suggest to watch it!
Soft scenes with natural lighting and soulful music.
You get an authentic view of a polyamorous relationship where each character explores what they can and can't be for each other and the balance between their personal lives and their careers.

The French location. The actors, and the music are all beautiful. The real reason to see the film is to appreciate the complexity of a poly relationship that lasts for awhile but eventually ends due to one partner being unable to share the other. This is unfortunately the fate of many poly relationships.
I am fortunate to be in a successful happy poly relationship lasting almost 28 years so I know that they can work but most people just can't handle the intensity and cannot accept the boundaries. This is a good film to see if you are contemplating getting involved in a poly relationship.

A fairly charming character study. I'm a bit surprised that I felt this way about it, since none of the characters are particularly likable. Many will consider it slow, as there are no car chases, explosions, or comic book heroes. Maybe that's part of its charm. Lovely photography of really nice scenery in the South of France. The lesbian and polyamory angles will appeal to some, and turn others off. None of the acting hit any false notes, at least for me.
Southern France, southern meanderings. Yes. Or should I say Oui? Give this one a try and you are gonna fall in love with it. It's got all the lovey, dreamy, swishy kind of things that you're looking for.
