Fun and entertaining but...

Really wish they wouldn't talk about the beautiful black women that appear on the show as busted or fat, when they are neither. And even though my grammar is typically terrible, the constant use of "you and I" incorrectly (3x in one episode) seems strange for a script about successful and educated black folks. Overall I like the show and it gives me Insecure 1st season vibes without the big budget. Would recommend, just minor feedback that hopefully the writers will take into consideration for season 2. Actors and actresses are good.

Great start

Great start, but after watching felt there should have been more episodes and further context on the characters backstory and development. We see the characters growing but not the work to get there. Overall funny and a good representation of being a single 30 something male.

Funny But Shallow

Just finished episode #2 and so far, I'm impressed. The show is funny and well done. I'm enjoying the story line and the characters are nicely developed. However, the shade towards big girls, dark skin girls and natural hair girls is already bothersome. I'll keep watching in hopes of this leveling out.

Love the show! Season 2 come on!

Trell Woodberry is a good actor and was surprised that he wrote the entire show so he is a great writer. This show has a lot of relatable characters. This show reminds me of Bigger on BET + but from a guys point of view. Can't wait for season 2.

Great show

I enjoyed the show. Excited for season 2. Was turned off a bit by the "busted" comment. Overall enjoyed the show.

Easy to watch

Because I could relate to some of the things that were happening in the movie. I was able to watch all episodes within a day. Also the actors or cute! I did kinda guess what was going to happen in some of the scenes. Season 1 was worth watching. It leaves you at a cliffhanger so I would definitely watch Season 2.

The Disrespect of Black Women Must Stop

This show may turn out to be a good start to AMCs Black affiliate the former UMC now AllBlk. What a great rollout during Black History Month 2021. However in s1e1 there was a scene of disrespect to a black woman that I cannot & will not overlook. In one of the reception scenes lead character "Jason" (Trell Woodbery) was introduced to what the "industry" would label a plus size woman. To me she looked like the every day woman. She was dressed beautifully, had a fantastic smile and appeared for all intents and purposes a nice young lady. As soon as they were introduced "Jason" immediately and disrespectfully made an excuse and walked off. Later both he and his friends referred to her as #BUSTED! Why? The only thing he knew about her was her face & her shape. Did he even hear her voice? By the way, Trell Woodbery wrote this episode as well, so he has to accept full responsibility for this. However AMC & AllBlk owe us an apology as well. Being plus size does not make women #Busted. And AllBlk should be the last place women of color at any size should feel less than or have to face this level of disrespect. But this is why others feel it's okay to disregard our feelings and therefore our dollars. Ladies it's time to hold everyone accountable Period Point Blank. I may continue to watched the entire series but this turned me off. #LalaWatchedWhat... Real Reviews for Real People by Real People s1e1 🔥
