The start of this movie is really dark as a Crazy women who kidnaps kids pulls there eye out and as little girl tries to escape , then there parents come and they finds out what she did to their kids and and beat the old lady and they hang her, then it turns out to be movie that people are watching in a cinema.
One of the work goes back to cinema late night, so he friend could record the movie and sell the movie before it get released however anyone who sees the end of the movie, strange things start to happen in the cinema.
This movie had great story and some really good turns in the story I didn't not see coming, there was some scenes that made me JUMP!, while I still getting of that scare and other scene that made me scream (I must be getting old lol ) as I was not ready for that scare.
This movie can be confusing near the end but it dose kind of make sense, The acting from everyone in this movie is great, also I like the fact it's a short movie and it never gets boring.
If you like Midnight movie (2008) I liked it, it was fun, you will really like this movie as it so much better and a lot more creepy then Midnight movie (2008).
I going give this movie 8 out 10

Phew... That was intense... Jump scares, tension, effects and plot twists, 'Coming Soon' has it all. It's not a horror film to ignore if you like the genre. One gets more and more appreciation for Thai filmmakers as they definitely know how to scare you.
The first 15 seconds of the film sets up the tone of the story and you know that it's not going to be an easy ride. One thing that struck me in particular is the scene construct that I noticed throughout the move. Familiar close up on the character with the villain in the background where we observe an unaware or suspicious look of the person. We know it's coming but we think there is still time to prepare. But then. Snap! Campera changes to POV and we see the perpetrator right there. A great recipe for a jump and a scare.
The spine-chilling scenes were mostly intertwined with 'not so scary', bordering on comical ones. The characters were slightly overacted and sometimes chucklesome. The cliché relationships took away a chunk of the splendidness of the film. However.
These imperfections were covered up with a great scare scenes set up, the perpetrators back story and the fact I couldn't sleep half of the night as I couldn't erase the death stare of the villain from my mid.
I will definitely take a break from the horror genre for a couple of days.

This was a neat concept. When it comes down to being scary, it wasn't getting it done for me. There wasn't a lot of dialogue and I think that is what really took away from it. I didn't feel connected to the characters. It's not bad but it's not great. It was an ok watch for me.
Fortunate for me, Pattaya shows movies with English subtitles...
Thai customs makes Ghosts scarier than any other horror imaginable. For a westerner to take concept of this shows the ability of this film to give a plausible atmosphere to sustain belief in the fantasy presented - which was done well.
There are some humorous notes to offset the frightening scenes (as all horror films possess), but enough scare factor to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Personally I liked the ending; it was a little unexpected... And if you saw movies like the original "The Eye" or "The Eye 2" or "The Eye 10" then you probably would too!

Watching this movie for the second or third time after 13 years and it still giving me the creeps at some scenes! Especially with the help of the ghosts' make-up which looks quite real and some effective jumpscares. Overall a classic Thai horror.
