Go-Big Show

Okay, it's like the Gong Show, but sometimes with live ammo or monster trucks. What's sad is that with a few changes this show could have been a little better. The acts that competed against each other, for instance, were often so different that it was like comparing apples and drywall. A person who literally put his life on the line might be set against a person doing a more artistic act or a sideshow routine. To make matters even worse, there was apparently no objective rubric for scoring. It's always nice to know how the judges reached their decisions, and what's the deal with the weird scoring meter? It makes no sense. I charitably give this show 2 stars because it was created and filmed during Covid.

The premise of the show is great, the execution is a fail!! how do you put a singer against a stunt person and then use the most ridiculous method of scoring I have ever seen! the Judges may be cool, but the show is a fail to me.

to save the show I would start first by putting like acts together so that it makes sense, and then change the Scoring from the dumb Hand throttles, to a simple points system where the judges actually judge characteristics of the acts like excitement factor, crowd excitement, danger level, who knows, pick a couple for each type of act and let them actually judge based on a criteria! then the winner is the one with the most criteria based points, which makes sense!

they shove this garbage down our throats 3 times a day 6 days a week for months, at least make it worth watching!

I was SO disappointed by this show. The scoring system is awful, very disappointed with the final scoring (hope others feel the same). I watched this show expecting people to "go big" ie: dangerous stunts, risky talents, etc. Yet the winner (although VERY talented) did not "go big".

What we do for entertainment is getting worse every year. Watching idiots trying to kill themselves is not entertainment. What's next? Public duels, gladiators????? Reality tv is garbage.

The judges overreact to the dumbest acts that seem like they were put together in 5 minutes. The host might be the only saving grace. If they can change a few things. Get better acts and change the weird throttle rating thing. It might stand a chance.
