Originally filmed and released as Crab Trap back in 2017. This version of the film is ten minutes shorter despite additional scenes that never made it into the original film. Low Country also contains a new score and revised mix. Director Shea Sizemore felt that this warranted it being a new film with a new title and renewed release. The tone the feeling and the focus are more about the broken family than a lying homeless man.
