With the hand-drawn style poster standing out from the others in the short movie section of the Soho Film Festival,I was intrigued to meet Laynie in the light.
Note:Review has some plot details.
View on the film:
Drinking to the beat of a stalker Thriller when the two ladies cross paths, the screenplay by co-writer/(with Charlotte Warren, who was also the cinematographer) director Jill Harrigan superbly gradually shifts the perception of the stalking,to a killer kinky twist ending, which ends the brief encounter on a cheeky, playful atmosphere.
Going for a drink to the excellent grinding score from Derek Gierhan, director Harrigan & cinematographer Warren slice into the tense Thriller mood with razor-sharp close-ups and jump-cuts, which cleverly keep the viewer cut-off from seeing the twist ending on the horizon,as Laynie finds a light.
