Pokémon the Series: XY

If I have to be honest while I still find the dub soundtrack a grave disappointment still with cheesy opening theme and repeated ending songs, I still love the story and the action that Pokemon XY has presented. The animation, the CGI movement in the background for battles and action are all god tier and I also like the story where they make the more serious arc more shonen worthy from just your typical kids show to something a bit more exciting that I'd craving for more Drama with Ash and Pikachu being the forerunner for the anime series sometime after gen 10 anime in the event it flops like Horizons and Journeys have did, that goes double for wanna be a Pokemon Master miniseries.

I also like the Amourshipping between Ash and Serena although I wish despite being a kids anime they show Serena's kiss on screen to show the relationship. Once I work the Pokemon company I might do something like that.

As for the CGI, I do love how the animators blend CGI background movement not only for pokemon battles but also for the Pokemon Perfomances giving animation a lot more life in the means of wanting more exciting battles, more awe inspiring performances and wonderful storytelling craving every ounce of it. Not to mention not only I love Ash's interaction with his pokemon but with the Kalos Gang, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie to the point I would like to see them returning canonically. Not like the disappointing stories Journeys presented.

I highly recommend it to teenagers specifically 13-16 years old to watch this amazing series. It has more to offer than usual Pokemon battles, which make it better than other Pokemon series. It has perfect storylines, plot and amazing Pokemon battles too to watch, and best companions as Clemont, Serena, & Bonnie. Just watch few episodes of this series XY, you will fell in love to watch this amazing series.

I watched this series years after watching the Pokemon OG & AG, and I think it's the best season of the Pokemon featuring Ash & Pikachu and their relationship with their human and Pokemon friend. It's definitely more for the older audiences of the Pokemon. This season is very much mature like a true actual general anime.

The series is really just the best. This with Pokemon XYZ is just great. The story, characters, and the goal is really exciting. It has a good balance and makes Ash look really cool. The animation is great too.

I personally loved the art style of this anime much better than Sun and Moon that followed. I haven't rewatched it but I remember loving this even more than indigo league I've watched most of the pokemon episodes and movies out of sequence so for this to be my favorite is saying something.

Charchters: The main cast is so likeable clemont and bonnie are an iconic duo and the main love interest serena not only is she powerful and independent but she supports ash and has lore with him for a long time.

Music and writing: From what I remember I beleive my favorite arc was the serena doing that contest nearing the end of the show and thats coming from someone who only typically likes the fight scenes, it was written so well and me welling up in some tears at the time.

Graphics: Stunning mega evolutions will be missed especially the final episode fight scenes were great.

If you don't want to watch the entire anime (understandably) but want to give it a try; this is the series. It truly is the best Pokémon series and a very good anime series. There are fleshed-out characters, probably the most we've ever seen. The story is really good and there are several arcs. The animation... is AMAZING. It is a good adventurous anime. The music is really good. The humor is pretty good. And there is even a bit of romance. It is a great show for anyone and a really good for people who enjoy anime. I highly recommend it, it's really is a engaging series. I personally have watched it through 2-3 already. And it is a series you should DEFINITELY watch if you're considering watching something Pokémon related.
