Wicked Season opens on a sombre note with a man we’ll come to learn is Sergeant Mike “Manhunter” Hughes, played by E.K. Spila dressed for a funeral and speaking to an unseen person, or perhaps their tombstone. A siren sounds in the distance, and he walks away as the film jumps back eighty-four hours
It’s October 30th, marking the tenth anniversary of Alton Crow’s horrific killing spree. Now, someone is recreating his gruesome crimes, leaving a path of crucified and disembowelled women in their wake. With no leads or suspects, Captain Turner assigns Detectives Miller and Vega to talk to Hughes, the man who captured Crow.

Despite the plethora of horror and other genre releases that glutted home platforms this week, romance “After We Collided” placed best on VOD charts this weekend. It ranked #1 at both Apple TV and Google Play, both of which rank by transactions.
“Unhinged” is #1 at FandangoNow, which is based on revenue and gives an edge to Premium VOD titles like this $19.99 entry. Cable giant Spectrum still shows the Alec Baldwin-starring mystery “An Imperfect Murder,” which has little action elsewhere, atop its chart.
Surging late on the charts, “The Craft: Legacy” from Blumhouse Prods. and indie director Zoe Lister-Jones performed strongly at $19.99. It likely missed the top spot at FandangoNow because its full-week chart covered four days prior to its Friday release, but still took the #2 spot there. It is #3 at Apple TV and Google Play, despite its higher cost.

November is among the least respected months on the calendar. Falling between objectively the two best holidays, November is usually all about recovering from the spookies of Halloween while getting ready for the good vibes the holiday season. For its new releases of November 2020, Netflix has decided to just go ahead and get Christmas over with.
Netflix has already released a list of all its holiday offerings for November and December, and it’s those holiday offerings that take the most prominence this month. The biggest project of all of these is undoubtedly The Christmas Chronicles 2, which premieres on Nov. 25. In this holiday sequel, Kurt Russell reprises his role as Hot Santa Claus who must save the season once again.
On the non-holiday side of things, Netflix’s Emmy-winning series The Crown returns for season 4 on Nov. 15. And speaking of things that desperately want to win awards, Ron Howard...

We've officially reached the punch-drunk portion of the Halloween movie season, that special time when it feels like every possible type of horror movie has been thrust upon those of us who have any type of bent toward the frightening and the terrifying. But there's always room for one (or two or three or four...) more, right? In that spirit, The Call is arriving On Demand today, just in time to spoil the weekend or, perhaps, make it something truly special and/or scary. The film features two horror heavyweights in the presence of Tobin Bell and Lin Shaye. Directed by Timothy Woodward Jr., The Call goes back in time to the fall of 1987, when, according to the official synopsis, "a group of small-town friends...

October has been great for Netflix subscribers who are also horror fans, as the service has done a fantastic job of offering up plenty of freaky and unsettling new content just in time for Halloween. Adam Sandler’s comedy-horror flick Hubie Halloween, dramatic and cerebral series The Haunting of Bly Manor, and this week’s terrifying psychological horror film His House should be enough to keep you busy for a while.
That said, if you’re really a fan of creepy content, you’re probably wondering what Netflix is going to have to offer now that Halloween has almost come and gone. But fret not, as the platform is bringing a handful of eerie new things your way in November, too, so be ready to stay spooked.

Four Friends. One Phone Call. 60 Seconds. Stay Alive. Check out the trailer for The Call:
In the fall of 1987, a group of small-town friends must survive the night in the home of a sinister couple after a tragic accident occurs in The Call. Needing only to make a single phone call, the request seems rather simple until they realize that this call could change their life…or end it. After a successful nationwide theatrical and drive-in run, The Call will have its home entertainment premiere on 10/30 and will be available on Premium VOD & Digital.
Led by horror icons Lin Shaye and Tobin Bell, The Call has been a hit with both audiences and critics alike. In addition to the strong performances from the cast, the film benefited from the uncompromising direction of Timothy Woodward Jr and the fear inducing vision of Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick. Great word of...

Melissa Francis, a longtime business-news reporter who has been with Fox News Media since 2012, has been off the air since early October after approaching the company earlier this year with claims of pay disparity based on gender discrimination, according to reports in The Los Angeles Times and from social-media journalist Yashar Ali.
Francis, who co-anchored the mid-day Fox News Channel show “Outnumbered” and the Fox Business Network show “After The Bell,” has not been seen on air since appearing on the former program October 7. Fox News declined to comment on whether the company and the anchor were in the midst of any kind of arbitration. “Fox News Media regularly considers programming changes, including to its daytime lineup, and will launch new formats as appropriate after the election,” the company said in a statement. “These changes are being made independent of any other ongoing matter.”
Francis did not respond immediately to a query via social media.

Though we’re now beginning to see life starting to return to at least some sense of normality, a lot of people are still spending much more time at home than usual thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, and that probably won’t change for a while yet. As such, streaming services are more popular than ever now and thankfully, all of the major players have been delivering the goods when it comes to adding new content.
Of course, Netflix are still the leaders and each and every month they bring us a healthy helping of fresh material that ensures subscribers are kept entertained at all times. Admittedly, the summer was more fruitful in terms of new releases, but there are still a lot of great titles coming down the pipeline as we head into the fall and today, the streaming giant have revealed their November lineup, which you can check out below.

Aj McLean is coming clean about his 20-year experience with addiction. The Backstreet Boys alum opened up about his sobriety journey in an interview with Good Morning America on Monday, Oct. 19, and revealed how his bandmates tried to get involved when they learned about his addiction in the 2000s. "They basically broke into my house and they dumped ice water on me while I was passed out in my bed. Everybody started to catch on," McLean shared. "I wasn't me anymore. I was just living a lie." He admitted that his first encounter with drugs was right before he filmed the music video for the band's 2001 song "The Call." "The first time...
