Tixie

I'd have drawn a money machine... A boy has a fun time with an apparently magical box that whatever he draws on a piece of paper and places inside for a day. At first he creates two perfectly harmless things like a bunny and a lollypop, but then he rather foolhardily decides to try out the limits of the mysterious box by putting in a doodle of a kind of monster that I guess must be named Tixie, a ghoulish skull faced chittering thing that promptly springs upon him the next day when he goes to investigate without thinking that his creation might not be too friendly, and maybe he wasn't aware that he'd created a monster, in any case, the walking nightmare bites the poor kid's head off in one bite and I found the effect kind of shocking to say it was happening to a kid! You never get that, that takes cojones you know!! This is a very simple and to the point kind of horror short but I really enjoyed it, the concept is cool and it has a good buildup to a satisfactory gory punchline, and sometimes that's all you really need to have a fun time with them! It's a minor gem! X.
