Great take on the iron curtain motorcycle rivalry

I have nothing to do with motorcycling. I think many bikes are way to fast, way too loud and attached too often to reckless drivers.

This documentary about an east-german pro motorcycle racing driver was great, though. The doc offers a thourough glimpse into the crazy, competitive history between the east and west in which the east-german manufacturer "MZ" built - for a time - the fastest two-stroke motorbikes on the planet.

Well done - especially the "anglo"-perspective through just proper motorsport enthusiasm. Underneath it all is a story about a man, who was great at what he did and because of that was forced to leave his country with his family.
