Carrie and David's Pop Shop

My daughter comes into my bedroom early hours every morning and puts this pile of rubbish on, the singing, the songs and the overall performance from the so called vocal coaches is dreadful, the concept is so unappealing it bores me, I have nightmares thinking oh my its going to be on in the mornings. Its the worst alarm clock ever invented. Carrie's singing voice is like a cockerel dying and in pain, the only reason it is on in my house is straight after it a quality program like something special comes on, which I quite enjoy and find entertaining for everyone. People of all ages should avoid Carrie and Daves pop shop. Its a failed fame academy for children.

Great music - you can tell they are totally having a laugh. Highly recommend. My kids like the noisy song - but 'check me' about getting dressed by yourself is hilarious. David Grant has stunning voice on that track. There are lots of references in there to adult bands and songs in terms of the music style. I think it must be very tongue in cheek, just see it for what it is - a good laugh by talented people. I love Carrie's voice and personality. The CD is kind of a soundtrack to how life feels when you're a young kid. I have given it as birthday presents at loads of kids parties and always get nice comments after. ALso some kids at school did lip synch vids on phone. If you are looking for ideas for school talent shows etc this is perfect, eg trax like shool is cool, check me, winner song or world gets bigger. Only negative i think is that it would be good if they issued backing trax as well. My kids also say some songs are missing from the show.
