Superb presentation of ppl preferring money over emotions.

N young actors who think they r good actors, ohh please dilli abi kafi dur hai. Pankaj Kapoor has raised the bar so high that such performance can be matched not only with talent but also with experience & maturity.

Seemingly slow and dull in the first half on the basis of the story, although not on the acting, i am very much moved by tye later half that I cannot rate it any less than ten stars. Tragic that it is this underrated despite being released in 2019.

For me the name Pankaj Kapur is enough to make watch the movie. An actor par excellence and one who has not got his due. In Happi he does it once again and this time he raises the bar very high, I doubt it if there is any actor who could have pulled this role off. He plays a simpleton and a man who is so innocent that it hurts. It shows how his days go by and how the people he is surrounded with, all poke fun at him. This is a showcasing of how as a society a lot of value has been put on success, shrewdness, being calculative that we are losing innocence and the basic ability of being humane. Happi is at once a Drama, Comedy and Tragedy. Watch it for Pakaj Kapurs phenomenal acting and the wonderful photography.
