An Original Standout in an Overdone Subgenre

I was pleasantly surprised by Curse of Aurore! The acting was really natural and strong on the part of all three main characters. The writing was careful and methodical, particularly the buildup to stuff really hitting the fan. The last 15-20 minutes really amp up!

    Eerily Believable Premise

The film has a believable and original reason for the characters to be in THE SPOOKY TOWN. Using the underpinning of a true story tragedy set against the backdrop of a lonely, snowy Canadian village, Curse of Aurore is initially a slow-burn character study interspersed with the occasional creepy moment--that most definitely picks up momentum. Worth checking out!

    A fun little thriller

Parrish, The Curse of Aurore Gagnon, may not vastly differentiate from other found footage horror movies, but this somewhat uneven horror film adds enough of it's own unique twists and turns to make a fun and thrilling ride.

The kind of movies I love to watch!

It has all the criteria I look for in a found footage movie. They did a great job making you think it actually happened! Most found footage is cheap looking, this was not. I wanted to slap that guy when he kept stealing stuff though!

    Better then expected

Solid 7 from me. I just finished watching the movie and I have to say.....it was pretty good. I liked the begining a lot, the mystery box was a great idea for a found footage. Setting was great, house was super creepy. I just wish maybe the movie was longer? I feel like the build up was great throughout the movie but the last few min got rushed? I don't know. But I definitely enjoyed the movie. Wish there was more though.. I'm not bashing the movie or the actors. They were all pretty good and belivable. maybe a prequel or sequel....Lol. good job though I will recommend watching it. I don't understand the low rating on here.
