I never played the Fallout games or knew anything about them so I had no idea what to expect but I have to say that I've really enjoyed it so far. This show hooked me from the first episode and held my attention to the last. I binged the entire season in two days and was still hoping for more episodes when I was done. It seems like some of the people who actually played the games didn't like it as much but as long as try not to compare it to the game and just enjoy it for what it is...and that's an entertaining fantasy/sci-fi series. The series should be judged on its own and not compared to the game. The world building and cast are the best things about the show and I can't wait for more. I promise you'll have a blast watching this and will want to binge it as fast as you can.
Well, wow. Fallout show is actually great. Production value, sound and set design, acting, all top notch, very good writing too, the overall game feel is with it truly too. Lore is almost unscathed, only fewer than few little things, that more than half of, still are left ambiguous, making the show very true to the source material. Art-style is the mix of all, while FO 3 game and on, with FO 4 prevail, some FO and FO 2 is also included.
Very refreshing TV show, in a way quite different than most TV shows out there, also quite dynamic too, something is going on always, to extent that sometimes "too much" is going on, creating the need to join quite attention with watching, and then to notice and "capture" it all..

I love the Fallout franchise, played all of the solo games as they came out and this show captures them. I can watch this show and feel the excitement I had playing the levels for the first time. The series pays homage to it all so far, and very well done in a way my wife who has never played one of the games still understands while enjoying the show. She can see my excitement and knows something is coming by my body language, but they did such a wonderful job bringing the world to life. We are looking forward to seeing more of these come out; I am looking forward to see some more enemies and friends appear on screen.
Fallout is one of the best series of 2024 for me. And at the same time it's a film adaptation of the game universe. And there were always problems with the film adaptation of games. But everything is so successful here that you are even surprised. First of all, the well-chosen cast of actors, I liked almost all of them, except that Maximus and his plot branch seemed boring. Careful work with the original source, it can be seen from the first series. Fallout looks like a part of the series and not as it happens with movie adaptations where the game world is nothing more than scenery. In terms of plot, of course, the first season does not answer almost one question that the viewer will have, and the last episode creates a lot of new ones. But for the debut season it will work, I really hope that the second season will not disappoint and will continue to develop the series. Moreover, the series has such a strong primary source.
I waited more than six months to write this review. This series is emotional, incredibly well filmed and unbelievably realistic. It shows that those that make games can also write incredible stories. The filmmakers have brought to life a game which has been played by millions of people and made it into a fabulous, scenic, beautiful, incredibly technical movie. I cannot refrain from recommending this series more highly. My only hope is that the production team make another series, well at least one more. It will be a very hard act to follow, and I hope that they didn't use up all of the game resources in making this first series. Bravo!
