The Expanding Mind

I genuinely never had so much fun watching a short. Utterly great. I'd like to take a minute to really give a particular shout to watch Carl Maher. His performance was absolutely stunning. He portrays a character who is so confident but loses it in the end and he holds that from start to finish. It may not mean much but I really think he is someone who is going to grace the silver screen and leave memories

I got a chance to watch The Expanding Mind and I can honestly say I loved every part of it. The two actresses in the story really bring it to life and the tension between the Attorney and Ciara Moore's character was brilliant. I was really happy with how it ended and it left me wanting more. Wesley succeeded in telling a very good story.

Actor Baz Black and actress Aine Flanagan were outstanding to watch. Seeing them bounce off of each-other was so realistic. By far my favourite out of it all was Carl Maher. His performance was so realistic and I actually felt for his character through the whole movie. A well deserved pat on the back from everyone. This was so much fun to watch

This short film is beautifully written. The dialogue and story is brilliant, successfully telling such an in depth story in a short time frame and leaving you wanting more at the end is surreal. I was honoured to have the chance to get a private viewing of this film and I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed in how it turned out.

Wesley Grogan and his Co-write Hayley O'Reilly really know how to tell a story and they did it perfectly without leaving any gaps or holes in the story.

The Expanding Mind is one of those short films that has a solid story and tells it fluently. I do hold some reserve based off of script and certain dialogue but that's to be expected coming from a first time writer and director. The setting was very realistic and the story did hold up well.

My only reason for giving it this review and star rating is simply based off of the fact that I was stunned and shocked at how well it turned out, I was not considering this to be a project worth watching. Enjoyable

It was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, not a bad start from a director with no experience, I was half expecting this film to have really bad quality. But it was extremely fun to watch. And did not disappoint
