For what it was is was excellent, and to be clear what it is is that i have absolutely no idea. it seemed to air on a NNN (nippon news network) which will tip you off that it is a news program, based on context and my limited ability to speak Japanese, i live there one year, it is seems to be a news commentary show, in which 7 people are sitting in chairs talking about an issue introduced by the host. it was an advanced show and as such my Japanese abilities was practically useless, due to the complexity of subject and speed of speaking. for some reason there are pictures of Takeshi Kitano (Beat Takeshi) everywhere, and for the life of me i cannot figure out why. he was never in the show, not even by video, but there were pictures of him, several different ones often when they show videos his picture will be inserted, once again, for no apparent reason.
should you watch this show? in short: almost certainly, yes. but let me go a little deeper. if you are reading this review in English, you have for some reason attempted to figure out what this show is for some reason, meaning you accidentally already watched it and you are trying to figure out why, if there is any reason, why all the Beat Takeshi pictures? in this case yes you should watched it. if you are reading this review for any other reason, then I'm sure you have an equally esoteric reason for attempting to watch than i did.
